When I ordered my food I wanted snow peas with a few onions and a few pieces of broccoli in Szechuan Sauce. First, I was told no snow peas, for the third time coming in the place lately. Then I was asked did I want mushrooms, I said No. Then I was asked if I wanted carrots, I said No, Just broccoli and a few onions. My order came to me with carrots in my food. Then the woman got mad because she asked me before she turned in the order, then did not tell the cook not to put them in my food. The woman got smart with me because SHE MESSED UP. The place is DIRTY and they have an unisex bathroom in the KITCHEN. Board of Health needs to shut this place down and make them rebuild or something.

Im told that this restaurant has very good soup of winter melon and spare rib. So I went and tried. Disappointingly, Im served a basin of soup with some pieces of spare rib and Bok Choy, no winter melon at all, and price is $13.95! Then I told the waiter this is not the right dish I ordered, and he changed it. However, this time, the winter melon is raw and hard, which is supposed to be well cooked and soft! Finally, I cancelled the order. I also ordered a hot pot of tofu, which is supposed to have some scallop and fresh vegetable. Disappointingly again, there is no scallop at all, and the vegetable (broccoli and baby corns) are rotting. Ill never try this restaurant again.

The owners are a very nice couple who recently reopened this restaurant. Therefore any reviews before roughly 2015 should not be considered since they made great changes. They have your standard Americanized chinese, but the real gems are on the back. They have a separate Asian menu in Chinese and you can pick at random and be assured itll be good. Check it out if you havent lately. The dumplings are on point

Having lived in Clifton in Cincinnati for about 5 yrs now, I was driving myself crazy for decent delivery Chinese food. I have tried SO many places! They have all been awful or supper inconstant. I learned that China Kitchen delivers and is pretty darn good and the price is right. It may not be the best Chinese food, but if you want something cheep and yummy give them a try.

This is the most authentic chinese food you can get around here. I have a chinese exchange student friend and she says that their food is just like it is at home. They have an american menu and a chinese menu. I personally think the chinese menu is the way to go but if you are used to americanized chinese then this place may be a little confusing for you.

I always order take outs from China Kitchen. Im a Chinese and I found it to be the best and most authentic Chinese restaraunt in Cincinnati. Most dishes are very authentic and delicious, my favorate is potato beef. And the price is great too! I dont bother to eat in it, since its a very small place. But the taste of dishes is most important to me!

China Kitchen is one of the worst Chinese restaurants Ive ever ordered food from. The sweet and sour chicken was poorly breaded and poorly cooked. It was soggy and tasteless. The best parts of my meal were the crab rangoon and the fortune cookie. I do not recommend and will never order food from China Kitchen again.

I eat at this place atleast once a week. The food is just too delicious. Being a vegetarian, I order their Schezuan Style Bean Curd which is ridiculously tasty. The service is also decent and usually you can find Asian people eating here which speaks volume about their authenticity.

Reasonably priced, and the food tastes good. The experience the next morning, after it works its way through your gastrointestinal tract, however, is less than pleasant. I originally gave the place 4 stars; Im knocking off two of them because of how I felt after eating there.

This restaurant is under new management or ownership. They are not the same restaurant that closed for renovations a year ago. Their food and atmosphere have dramatically improved. Any review that is older than October 2014 is for a now-defunct establishment.

Came in randomly after walking around the area and got the home style bean curd and its absolutely delicious! Had a really nice variety of vegetables and the tofu was great. Service was also good. Would absolutely eat here again! :)
