My favorite breakfast food in the Clifton area. This diner has an old town feel that reminds me a lot of the diners back home in Kansas I grew up with. Little league teams dot the walls, along with other pictures. The staff is super friendly all the time, and they never seem to stop moving on refilling drinks and making sure your food is good. Speaking of which, the food is excellent and very reasonable priced. My regular is the chicken tenders, but their hamburgers and omlets stick out as other good choices. Overall, you cant go wrong with this fantastic, family owned restaurant.

Been there twice now and both experiences were horrible. First time it was dirty silverware and no ice for my water in a plastic cup. The food is so so and for the quality and service the food is over priced. Went in Friday morning wasnt too busy, waitress saw me and said "Ill get to you when I get to you." Then walked past me three times without even handing me a menu. Their hours are sketchy, and they only take CASH in this day in age that alone can cut your businesss profits its uncalled for.

Old fashioned diner, reasonable prices, tummy satisfying food. My daughter and I stopped here after a visit to the zoo. We had the four piece chicken dinner meal and the veggie plate - ate it all. Tab was less than $13. After lunch, we walked across the street for Graeters Ice Cream. Situated in the cute bohemian Clifton neighborhood.

Best mom and pop restaurant in the area. Service is good but can take some time depending in the crowd. Definitely try the spicy goetta, my personal favorite. The omettes are white good and servings are not too big. Their chicken dinners are wonderful too! Basically everything is good and you should try everything!

My boyfriend and I were regulars at proud rooster when we went to UC. The best breakfast place in Clifton! Food and service are always amazing. Our one waitress has been there the entire time weve been going and shes always so friendly. Meal for 2 usually costs us $16 total. Highly recommend

Best fried chicken in Cincinnati. New to the Clifton neighborhood and Cincinati. So glad this place is on my street. Food and service is great, and more than fairly priced. Headed over now for pancakes, fried chciekn, and spicy guetta (is that how its spelled?)
