Terrible experience. Will never patronize this place again. Papa Bears was chosen as the place, our party of 8 would celebrate my nephews birthday. The server was nice and friendly and took our orders. The food was average, when we were finished eating she brought us the guest checks... the party was divided into 2 separate checks. On one check, one of the persons in our group had ordered the same exact meal as I did. That person (an adult) was charged $6 for her meal, whereas I was charged $13.95 for the same exact meal. (the exact same portion size, everything). I brought this to the attention of a man that was standing nearby, he claimed he was the manager... very disheveled, messy, sloppy appearance. When I asked if he was the manager he replied he was with a" yea Im a manager", however never offered his name... in fact he never offered anything... when I told him that I was overcharged and showed him the guest checks, he just stared blankly at me without any reply whatsoever. I then repeated several times, thinking that maybe he did not understand and asked to be charged the same as the other person, he then said no he wouldnt because the other person was charged a kids meal price, again I told him I got the same exact meal with the same exact portion. He told me he wasnt interested in making money on the other person. I was taken back by his complete unprofessionalism and attitude. Everyone in our party tried explaining that I was overcharged for my meal and he could care less. After it was completely apparent that this man did not care anything about my satisfaction as a customer and was unwilling to adjust my bill for just $6 (One person in the party should not have to more for the same exact meal as another) I expressed I would never return to his restaurant and will advise everyone I know to choose La Pizzeria Restaurant instead. The man that claimed to be a manger, then became angry towards me and told me not to threaten him. Needless to say everyone in our party and surrounding tables witnessed this event and was appalled by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of this person. This place clearly does not care about its patrons. I do not recommend dining here, there are way so many more family owned restaurants in the area that truly care. Try these: La Pizzeria, Primo"s, Palumbos and Sylvesters. The food and atmosphere is better and they are thankful for your business.

Food is good, the bartenders are nice. However, the service is horrible. You order a pizza and the people that wait on you while youre picking up your pizza arent friendly. I once ordered 2 pizzas (2 large pizzas) on my lunch break for people at work, arrived and they gave me the wrong order (1 large, 1 personal). I told them about it, they ended up giving me another large, but still charged me for the personal. I figured ok 1 mistake I get it. Next time I ordered pizzas for my work, was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived to pick them up, they never put the pizzas in. Now Im just getting irritated. They never once did anything to make up for it. Last time I went in, I ordered a pizza with a salad, and pulled out a long hair from my mouth while eating the pizza. The bar tender was nice, butt they pretty much just said theyd make me a new pizza. I said no Im not eating anymore of the food and I want the meal taken care of. They pretty much gave me my pizza for free. Management does nothing to make anything right, hopefully they can see this review so they can try and tell their employees to cheer up, they need to be friendly like the bartenders.

I have enjoyed Papa Bears since they opened the doors more than 2 decades ago. The menu is fantastic with price points for all budgets and enough diversity to satisfy every taste bud. It is family owned and operated. They have a dedicated, professional staff, many of whom have worked there for years. Sure the prices have gone up, as the prices of wholesale food goes up, so does the menu prices. It is to be expected. The quality is always first class. And if something is not to your expectations they will do everything to make it right for you. We eat dinner there often and have even had family occassions there too. They can accomodate large gatherings or a private dinner for two. Management is always available and visable in the dining room to make certain things are running smoothly and that customers have the best service and food on any given day. Well worth every penny. --Anissa Fogel

Horrible Service. Asked for a simple sausage and pepporni pizza with extra cheese. First pizza i recieved was burnt on the crust and the middle of the pizza. I went back inside and asked if I could have it remade. The second pizza i recieved was undercooked and had no sausage at this point I had made it to my destination for the evening. I had good faith that the second pizza would be prepared properly. I called the establishment and asked to speak with a manager, after recieving attitude from the worker the manager got on the phone and also gave me attitude(the first young lady MUST have recieved her training from this manager.) I told the manager the exact order I was looking for and simply asked her to read it back to me to ensure me the pizza was gonna be correct . She did. So now im going back Now for the last time . Hope you Experience Bettet

Very disappointed with the management. Noticed throughout the night that management tried to cram as many people in as they could which affected the front of the house, in addition to bogging down the kitchen. We arrived at 5:30, ordered our food at 5:45, and received our food at 7:30! Management came over and apologized for the wait, but obviously they have no clue how to seat accourdingly and take reservations in an appropriate manner. This business IS NOT a work friendly environment based on observations and information from servers coming over to speak with us throughout the night. It is sad to see a business only care about lining their pockets and not helping out their employees which keeps the business running. Highly encourage you to go to another restaurant near buy where they value their employees more.

We had a reservation for 11 people, seated fast so far so good. Then we go down hill fast, the manager comes in, pops out, comes back to say he had made a mistake in putting us in the private party room, we ask do we need to move, he leaves and comes back to ask if we could. We move to an area in the back that was freezing but we did get free appetizers. We get our food which took an hour and when I get my food it was missing the main course just had an extra item I requested. 10 minutes later my pasta comes and by this point 2 of the meals were inedible. The red sauce was so salted and acidic it left the taste in your mouth that you couldnt get rid of. First and last time we will be going back. We stopped to get olive garden which is next door to order to go.
