Its a fun place to see, take pictures of, and say youve been to, but once you get past the novelty of it theres nothing too great about it. I wouldnt suggest going in the winter because it was very cold inside. The fries were extremely greasy, they werent fried so much as heated up in oil. The home made macaroni and cheese is definitely not what youd expect when you hear the phrase "home made". The burger wasnt bad, but definitely wasnt great. I feel like everything was a little overpriced considering the quality but they did get our order correct. I wouldnt tell anyone to go, but I wouldnt tell anyone not to go. This place could be a lot better than it is, and I have a feeling that it used to be a lot better than it is, but after our visit we wont be returning.

Pulled off for a rest stop and my husband managed to spot this place up on the hill. What a find! Love the atmosphere getting to eat in the train car and there is a bell and whistle you can use outside, son kids were playing with them when we pulled up. The food was very good, price was fair, we paid about $25 fur the two of us and git a 1/2lb special burger and a reuben, both came with fries, and two fountain drinks. The food was great, the fries didnt look very good but they tasted good! The food came very quickly, was hot, and delicious. We ended up sharing 1/2 of each others food because both dishes were so good. Very happy that we ended up here!

The charm of this place is the fact that it is a diner inside of a train (and, if youre a Buckeye, all the OSU swag). The food is pretty good too. If you pay with a credit card, though, prepare yourself for a brief lecture from the middle aged gentleman (the owner?) on how credit card companies are contributing to the downfall of society. Youd think, as a business owner, hed be less concerned with your method of payment and more concerned with the fact that you are paying him to begin with.

Wow! They have wonderful food, great atmosphere, and an awesome staff! If you leave Hungry , its your own fault! I love BLTs and they make the best there is! Tony wont tell me where he gets his bacon, but I am totally in love with it!! Lots of thick slices of bacon, tomatoes, & I ask for cheese on it and they make it perfect! If theres any of there cherry cheese cake left, I definitely recommend that!! Thanks Tony, you are awesome!!

Been here about 5 times, always great food. Burgers are amazing and staff is friendly. Recently made reservations for birthday lunch with 23 people (1 weeks notice), everything came out quickly and with no issues what so ever! Tried their sweet potato fries (steak fry style) soo good and it even came with a brown sugar butter to dunk it in. Will definitely be back!! Thanks again.

Cutesy OSU decor. Decent roadside food at fair prices. The gentleman working the register wasnt particularly hospitable, and the credit card machine was down. I only had so much cash, and asked if we could have a cup of water. He gestured at the bottled water and said "thats why we sell those". Nickel & diming tends to overwhelm the flavor of a "pretty good" burger.

The food was mediocre at best. But the worst part is if you ask for water we were told they dont have water then she said we have it but its not drinkable. So what are they washing the dishes with and using for their food? She proceeded to say we could buy bottled water and thats all that they have. The food was also pretty pricey for what it was.

This place is very unique. Dining in an old rail car. Great views, very prompt and friendly staff. Order food at counter as you walk in then have a seat and they bring it to your table. Lots of old railroad pictures on walls and tables. The place has a candy shop in it also. The place even has a juke box!

Reading the reviews I had made a destination of this restaurant. While my burger was good and very large it was far from the best Ive ever had. The exterior features some play structures with a small child will enjoy and the interior is filled with interesting train related paraphernalia.

It was a pretty good burger (so says the partner). I had a grilled veggie wrap with AMAZING ranch and cheese. Fries were a little over done but still delicious. Have been driving from New York to Kentucky and past this place for years and finally decided to stop, definitely worth it.

Super cool place! One of the rare one of a kind gems you find around the country. The food is all really good, made from scratch tasting. The service is great and so was the price. Im saving this place on my maps so next time Im through, I wont forget to stop!

I have been here several times that I was in the area for work. Always good, fresh food. Neather the hamburger or the french fries have seen a freezer. If you are in the area stop in the food is great and the owner takes great pride in it.

We had a wonderful time! The bacon burger was filling, and the fries were in a generous portion. Great price, just wish it was a little closer to home. The service was excellent, and the waiters kindly checked on us often. Go Blue!

Came here on a business outing.it was great. The second time i came here, i got the woody burger and it was great. The fries were a little overcooked but still good. Worth the stop, especially if you want a hand made burger.

Awesome food! Loved the Phily and the Fried Bologna sandwich. Fries are cut Idaho and better than the fries you will get at the State Fair. The owner was there and welcomed us with a smile. Will be back many times.

We went as a group of 20 and were attended to quickly. Ordering first, then taking a seat made it easy for us to pay and to avoid the weird split checks deal.
