When I arrived at your establishment the morning after a swaray, my life was nearly in shambles do to the repercussions of the previous nights libations. Upon entering the establishment, my olfactory senses were engrossed in the amazing scents wafting through the air, and I was not only please, but over joyed by the classic stained glass lamp shades hanging over each table and neon egg lights over the counter. My waitress was absolutely wonderful, bringing us coffee and water immediately as well as understanding my plight of being "one of those people" that will clean house on sugar packets. She brought our table a cup of sugar that was more than appreciated. The menu is extensively filled with fantastic options and any place that lets me order food from all of the breakfast/lunch/dinner options at once is good in my book. The food arrived quick and exactly as we had ordered. The atmosphere was upbeat but not too loud or overwhelming as my friends and I attempted to put our lives back together. Upon leaving your establishment, my life was still basically in shambles, but I was not hungry anymore. I sit here typing this while finishing my left overs and most certainly intend to make this my new post-social-outings recombobulation breakfast establishment. I could not be more pleased. We will be back!

Used to be decent until their sister restaurant was shut down via Dirty Dining years ago. Now its the go-to if you want to feel like going to a greasy-spoon restaurant thats in the middle of nowhere but live in the city. Seriously felt like I was in a bad part of Kentucky. Mens restroom has a leak in the ceiling. Lights in the food area buzzing like they need to be replaced. Idea of bacon cheese fries are fries with a couple slices of American cheese and bacon bits. Chicken philly was as dry as sandpaper. Jalapeno poppers have American cheese in them and not cream cheese with dollar store salsa to dip them in. The menus looked like they ran out of color on the printer (all yellow and faded like left out in the sun) and could barely read. Menu said, "Soft Drinks" with no idea what they are unless you ask. Waitress kept pushing us to get out quick. Overall worst experience. Now I remember why I havent been back in 13 years. Now the morning after from going the night before, cant stop going to the restroom. Nasty.

We had a great experience. the waitress was very polite and sweet and the food was delicious! Highly recommended for home cooked food. Well eat here again and again.................... Well let me just say this is a recap on my review. I actually got a job as a waitress there. I work for 4 days and then I was fired. The other waitresses sabotaged me, Gave me tables and did not tell me that they were mine. so customers would sit there and with no service. so customers complained. because the waitresses were all jealous that I was doing a better job than them. I want to apologize to the customers that that happened to. And to the customers that requested that I wait on them the next time thats why you have not seen me...The owner Romina could not give me a reason for letting me go other than she had complaints from employees and customers.

Very unhappy. My wife and i ordered a to go meal for us and the little one. After we got home to our surprise, we found a nasty hair in my wifes food. Everything else was made incorrectly. My eggs were made wrong and the homefries were not fully cooked and the little ones pancakes were made incorrectly. When we called and told them, they didnt offer to remake the food. They said the owner will call when shes there (which us only on mondays). I never received the call. When we called today, (a week later), they said they wouldnt replace our food. Weve had countless problems with them in the past but we always went back because its cheap. Ibdo not recommend this place to anyone. The servers are all very rude and have no customer service skills what so ever and they will mess your order up every time.

Since when is it proper restaurant etiquette to allow customers to bring their slimy pet lizards inside with them to sit on their shoulders while they eat and disgust other patrons? Did I miss something here? I eat at the Egg Platter so i know its not the classiest place in the world but its also not a Tiki bar where you might expect this. Food is decent but It will be awhile before I go back. Isnt this a health violation?? The waitress, instead of asking them to not bring it in actually thought it was "cool". Oh well.

I did have a few complaints. #1. The handicap parking should be by the entrance, not the side. If you had trouble walking, youd know what I mean. #2. You advertise on your menu, sugar free maple syrup. There is no such thing. Maple syrup is Approx. 50% natural maple sugar and 50 % healthy minerals. You need to change those menus, they are misleading. #3. Please add buckwheat pancakes to the menu. They are wheat free and gluten free. Many people have a senstivity to Wheat & Gluten. Thank You

Breakfast The Egg Platter was a fair experience. Service was friendly and there was plenty of food and the coffee was a bit cheaper than most places but that wasnt enough to compete the experience. The coffee arrived cold and it was quite a while before my first refill. Several times the waitresses were yelling over tables to discuss their assignments which seemed careless. Also the food had nothing special about it, no down home feel. Nothing to make me say this was the only diner for us.

This place has "character" kind of a cross between being in the audience of the springer show while also filming an episode of cops. Waitress shouting curses across the room while discussing who is screwing who put of tips. Food dry kind of like a over cooked Swanson TV dinner. This should not be considered a dinner destination but rather more of a place to hide out after you just pulled a bank heist.

There’s nothing very WOW or extraordinary here—not even very community-oriented, but it’s a place to go to when you are craving something greasy, cheap, filling, and it’s 4am when everything else is closed. The menu can be daunting, but is filled with everything you crave after a night of hanging out. Flavors and service can seem a bit lacking, but under the circumstances, it’s pointless to complain.

Decided to try something different for breakfast and it was a very good choice. Staff was very friendly, attentive and kept drink glasses full. The country fried steak was the best I have had around here, so good and I didnt even need a knife. The grilled biscuit was fluffy and crispy all at the same time. Neither my husband, daughter or I had any complaints and you get a lot of food for your buck.

Busy and 7 of us at a crowded table. Service was ok but the grits were runny like buttermilk and the Texas omelet I had was slightly undercooked. A breakfast sandwich platter was served to one in our party and she found a brunette curly hair on her plate. Refills on our drinks didnt come as our waitress was pressed to serve too many. Looking for somewhere else to go after church.
