worst restaurant and restaurant management (owner). The food used to be good, when Ive had the food in the last few months it lost its flavor, and looks of edibility. I had hair in my food the last time I had the food, which was take out so wasnt like I could just go trade real fast. Most of the time the take out was wrong but that has always been a problem here. The owner is the most unprofessional owner of any business I know. He likes control over people. Customers, employees, and who knows who else. even in their personal lives he gets involved and threatens their job if they dont do something that has nothing to do with the restaurant. He has blackmailed customers to get what he wants. He is not professional at all. he should not be in business. He is not the person he pretends to be.

Moving here from Texas, I can honestly say that this is the best Tex-Mex Ive had in NE Ohio so far. The salsa doesnt taste like canned tomatoes, unlike other Mexican establishments Ive tried in the area. We started with the queso fundido which was very tasty. The chorizo wasnt greasy at all and the cheese was creamy and smooth. I had the fajita quesadilla and was unable to finish it. The thing must way 2 lbs. The steak in it didnt have a lot of seasoning but the chilis were perfectly cut and the onions were beautifully caramelized. Id say add a little more salt, pepper, and some lime to the steak and it would be perfect. I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. So far Im quite impressed! If youre any within a 20 mile drive, Id recommend giving it a try.

well it happened to be $2.99 margarita night. though not the reason we decided to go there that night but we considered it to be a nice bonus. so we, 2 of us, ordered 2 of the margarita specials as well as 2 meals. so the bill came and the bill was for quite a bit more than expected. the waiter, who was as bad at english as i am at spanish, charged us for larger margaritas than we ordered. after contesting the bill the manager accused us of trying to take advantage of the situation. i would never try to get anything for nothing, just not my style. the fact that I was accused of taking advantage of the situation really pissed me off. the food was average, the margarita was ok at best and the service sucked.

Not a good place to take small children or if youre short on time. We waited an hour and a half for our food the last time we were there, and a half hour plus on the previous three visits We also frequently used to order carry out-on our last visit they forgot to put some of our order in the bag. Food is ok-the standard Mexican restaurant fare that you get from any number of other restaurants scattered around town. **Update 2/17/17- Its been 4 months and we havent been back. Drive a few miles up the road to Casa Del Mar where its the same standard Tex-mex food except you dont wait an hour for it-and they get the carryout order correct.**

The wife and I went there for the first time today, The staff was friendly, the place was clean, I ordered the Toco Salad a large clump of lettace incased in a cube of ice was on top, I dug deeper to find the ground beef and beans drowning in 1/2 inch of water the wife said it was bean juice? looked and tasted like water to me what a disapointment. My wife ordered the Steak Faheta somthing like that, the steak was tough and dry she wouldnt even take it home to the dog. Needless to say never again.

We just ate lunch there. Food was terrible. Very little meat in the quesadilla! My daughter couldnt even eat one of her chimichanga and the waiter didnt even ask if why. Rice was dry! Had to send the mountain dew back & pink lemonade was no better! When we paid the bill & the guy asked how everything was I told him not very good he told me he was sorry but there was no manager here so how about he take $3.00 off. I told him whatever it was our first time here & we would not be back!

Always very friendly, great atmosphere, food is wonderful with great prices. If your the type that dont like to dine in, you can call and order to go. And if by some small chance either you dont like your food or your order is wrong they are more than happy to fix anything with the only question is "how can we serve you better". Love this place eat here at least a couple times a month, and you get a lot of food for your money

Been there a few times with our thurs night supper club. ( usually 12-20of us ). We arrive between 5-5:30... drink margarita specials are til 6:00... everytime we were there we were charged full price for our drinks and most of us were chared for an extra one. Waiter who barely spoke english tried to argue with us... we will never go back...

The waitress was really nice and very fast. The portions were huge. My boyfriends burrito could have fed four people. My quesadilla was huge too, and completely satisfying. The chorizo was amazing, I had some in Florida like it once and hadnt found anything like it until we tried here. I wish we were closer wed be there all the time!

Ive eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants all over the eastern U.S. and this one is by far in my top 5. The service here is excellent as is the food. I try to pick something different on the menu every time I eat here and have never been disappointed. If you are anywhere near Akron, Ohio...this is a must stop for great Mexican food.

Good experiecnce all around. Warm friendly staff thatake you feel at home with the authentic menu and the food is always served hot and fresh. Its refreshing to sit on the friendly open lush feel patio area with the nice decor and have a margarita or another beverage made espically for you. Just all around satisfying

Im very confused we ordered the special, margarita for 2.99, it was very good, along with our meals, when our bill came it was 3x the amount. When I questioned them I was told I was trying to take advantage of them! What???? The special was 2.99 we were charged 7.50 per drink!!

The best Fajitas I have had anywhere ! I always get fajitas , love em. Wife and son got other stuff and loved it ! Some of the best service that I had anywhere , amazing how fast one can get such good food . I live 75 miles away , but I will be here at least once a month.

I like the food but for the second time they have left things out of my to-go order. And for the 4th or 5th time in a row I have waited an additional 20 minutes after placing my order which was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Nice atmosphere but they seem understaffed

El Jalapenos has the right recipe for a successful restaurant. The food always is fresh and good, the chips and salsa have a good flavor and the staff is friendly. The prices are fair and the food is consistent and comes out in a timely manner.
