Either the good reviews came from people that work at Ido, or my wife and I caught this establishment on a bad day. We stopped in on my birthday and advised staff that several attempts to join the birthday club has failed and the response was hummm, there have been several complaints about that - NO RESOLUTION. The waitress was good, the food was mediocre at best, we have been there a few other times and it was the same way, non hospitable. As with other establishments, we gave Ido Café more than one visits, they have all been undesirable and there will not be a next time.

I was so excited to try this restaurant because I had heard so many good things about it. Im sorry to say that when I went their for lunch, I was sorely disappointed. I ordered soup and a hamburger wrap. The soup was a Hungarian style soup, tasty but a bit oily. The wrap had maybe 2 - 3 oz. of meat and the rest was loaded with onions, ketchup and mustard. It was more of a condiment wrap than anything else. Maybe I went on a bad day, but I would not recommend this place. Sorry.

First time in the place tonight. No doubt about it the food is great however I have the Capenelli and it wasnt very good. Wasnt offered anything different or discounted. I wasnt looking for a discount just saying nothing was offered after I said it wasnt good. Also prices being great could be up for debate. I ordered a summer shandy which came in a tiny 12oz mug and was charged $5.25. I get 24oz around akron for $6- $7. I will go back and try other things for sure

Very casual, homey feel. Staff was attentive and polite. The server did say that they did not have chocolate milk so my niece and nephew got milk but then they got chocolate syrup with their ice cream. I know its been a while for me, but what happens when you mix milk and chocolate syrup? If it was busy than I would understand we were one of four tables at the time. Not a depiction of the restaurant, just that one server being lazy.

This place is excellent!! If you are looking for delicious real food then you have to come here. The people are nice and it has a really nice down to earth atmosphere. If I could eat here every week I would!!!! My favorite is the Missys Chicken Sandwhich :) Reasonable prices as well! Check it out one time and you wont be disappointed.

Great food! Im visiting from out of town and I ended up going here twice! They have great discounts throughout the week also. Wednesday is 1/2 off burgers and they are huge, definitely worth the full price, but 1/2 off makes it so much better!!! Also had the meatloaf, its very yummy! Made home style, just like from your moms kitchen!

Fantastic! I am a weekly regular now and I always bring friends now. I prefer to be waited on by the bartender rather than be seated and I have had great experiences every time. Food is very good, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is perfect. This is my favorite place to get a burger and a draft.

We have been coming here for years. We love it. They offer a nice menu and good drink selection. Service is always good. Its a nice casual place. They offer specials and different seasonal type stuff. The fried pickles are amazing!

Fantastic dive bar in akron with excellent food. Their all you can eat fish on Fridays is very tasty and its 9.99 for fries bread and hot rice with coleslaw. They also have walleye and lake perch for lent. Definitely recommend!

Dont expect much in the way of service from two of the longer tenured wait staff. Lousy attitude consistently and poor customer services skills. Been a million times, but not going back.
