Ellet, Akron, Ohio, is privileged to have Artisan Coffee in town. Whoever designed everything that makes Artisan Coffee great knows Ellet and the people of Ellet well because it appeals to and can attract just about anyone here (yes, I live in Ellet). Large groups, students studying for exams, parents with kids, old friends meeting up, folks looking for an entertaining Friday night (the raised floor in the northeast corner of the coffee shop becomes a stage for musicians), couples looking for a casual and relaxing place to fellowship with other couples, (and even single people like me), etc. will find Artisan Coffee a gem of a place. Every time I visit Artisan the locally made baked items tempt me. They, too, are a work of art. The rustic look and feel makes for a casual and calming environment. The staff are engaging, inviting, friendly, very hospitable and down to earth. If youre a fan of coffee youll love this place. Artisan uses a beautiful, and BIG, La Marzocco GB5 espresso machine and roasts their own beans an elegant Diedrich IR Series machine. Artisan knows coffee and takes great care into making good coffee, "because life is too short for bad coffee." Im not much of a "specialty drinks" drinker but Artisans Lavender Latte was the bomb! Thanks Artisan Coffee for coming to Ellet!

My favourite coffee place! My husband and I just moved to the area, and I immediately started looking for a good coffee shop. Saw the awesome reviews for Artisan and the mention of gluten free products. I was sold! The staff here are always very friendly, and the coffee is delicious. They roast their own beans and you can check out the roaster when you order (its clearly visible behind the counter). The food and baked goods are also excellent. I love their gluten free blueberry muffin, and my husband swears by their wraps. Im here at least once a week to enjoy their lavender latte and just relax. Check out their beautiful mugs; handmade by a local potter. They are lovely! And its just nice to hold a real mug in your hand instead of a takeout cup. I cant recommend this place enough.

I went for the first time tonight. The atmosphere is incredible, its like youre not even in the same town anymore. Its peaceful, relaxing, clean, and a very good place to do work (they provide free wifi). I plan on coming here more often. I almost didnt give it 5 stars because the only thing that upset me was the price-to-portion ratio. For $5 I received iced coffee in a small mason jar that was mostly ice. The coffee was delicious and I loved the vintage jar look, but I was a little saddened by how much coffee I ultimately got for $5. Theyre a local business that has only very recently been around, so Im sure small things like that will improve. Its still such a warming environment and delicious drinks, I will definitely be coming around more often! Thanks!

What a gem! Great coffee shop with in house roasted coffees, lunch menu and an assortments of breakfast bakery items. The scones are my favorite! Foo-foo coffees drinks available with a frozen option - my favorites are the Turtle and Almond Joy. Loyalty program available. Atmosphere is eclectic and unique. Features live music on various nights and local art for sale which is displayed on the interior. Great spot for small meetings and get togethers. You can snuggle up the cozy fireplace with your hot cocoa. Mugs are locally hand made and are large.

My favorite coffee shop! The beans are roasted in house, which makes for a delicious cup. They really know what theyre doing. The owners and staff are amazingly friendly, nice, and helpful, which makes for a great experience. Ive tried several different variations based on their advice, and never been steered wrong! The food products are made in house- scones and muffins are delicious, Ive never had the sandwiches or salads. Its a very cozy and welcoming place. Highly recommend!

A unique and truly local hangout. With all the myriad of coffee house chains out there, its nice to have a stand-out place like Artisan. The interior ALWAYS feels clean and airy, the staff have been ceaselessly friendly, and the drinks are hand-crafted deliciousness. I love sitting near the fireplace with one of their handmade mugs. Far more preferable than Starbucks!

Ive never had a desire to stay in Ellet any longer than absolutely necessary until now. Artisan is a gem; the interior is a perfect combination of cozy and spacious, and the coffee is top-notch. The owners have put in an incredible amount of work to this place, and it shows through every little detail. I anticipate many afternoons and evenings spent here!

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Real baristas that know what theyre talking about and encourage discussion. They make EVERYTHING: all the way down to their syrups and caramel. Inside is clean and decorated nicely. Pleasant all around, just like a coffee shop should be. I wish the inside was painted a darker color, but oh well haha.

Im 4. mins away and wanted to try it! my gosh we were so pleased....comfy choices to sit....great menu....great coffee...awesome prices..a game. area.. parking ..plenty and full every time I pass this new place. Friendly owner..workers...kitchen .etc. We found our new place to enjoy a good Scrabble game and coffee. 5+*

The staff here are amazing friendly and the food is quite good. The overall atmosphere of this establishment is great, with a conference room and a kids corner available for use. Prices are cheaper than big chain coffee shops and this is somewhere where I would definitely visit again in the future.

Absolutely my favorite local coffee shop! Their lattes are awesome (try the "breve,") their pastries are gorgeous, and their baristas are always friendly! They have a cozy atmosphere with a nice fireplace & live music on special nights. They have a kids corner & a party/large group room.

My favorite spot to chill out at in Akron. Great coffee selection, as well as food. Consistently amazing coffee. Great baristas and cooks too. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and very spacious. Its a great place to study or just hang out with your friends and family. 10/10 would recommend.

An oasis in an area where there are no yummy coffee shops. Quality and healthy breakfast and lunch selections. The barrista makes a mean latte but also has a bit of a mean streak. I would give it 5 stars if minus the attitude but a little meanness is worth tolerating for a coffee oasis.

My first time here and Im wowed, the interior has a new age yet rustic feel, very comforting. The barista was really friendly, presentation of pastries was excellent and it all looked fresh. Prices are more than reasonable and my orange scone was perfect. Recommend all day

Stopped by for coffee and pastries. This little coffee shop is very good at making you feel at home. The food is fresh and homemade. The coffee was outstanding and so was the conversations I had with the staff. There are games to play if you want a nice safe meeting place.

I dont know that I could ever say enough good things about Artisan Coffee. The lavender latte is absolutely amazing, the staff are incredible, and dont even get me started on the pastries! They also offer a rewards program - great for caffeine addicts like me!
