Well, we completed the S. Stratford Road gyro trifecta (Olive Tree, Athena, & Hero House) by eating lunch here. This is a fast food setup (order & pay at the counter, get you drink, etc., etc.). The place is big (much bigger than the one on Peters Creek), bright & clean, mostly utilitarian as to decor and seating. Gets crowded quick at lunch, gets noisy, and service gets a little slow. The menu is really broad with a large number of subs, deli sandwiches, pizza, pasta dishes, soups & salads, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Wings, and appetizers. The Athenian Gyro (small is $6.55) is very nice - the meat is tender, well seasoned, the veggies are fresh, and the Tzatziki Sauce is good, though a bit mild. This is an excellent Gyro, just not quite the bargain as the one down the street. You can get this on a pita or a sub roll - the pita is a little on the thick side, and chewy. The Deluxe Gorgonzola Walnut Salad with Grilled Chicken (wow, thats a mouthful!) goes for $9.89, and while it is a good salad, it is not a great salad. The grilled chicken is flavorful, but is rather sparse on a salad this size. But the main problem is with the Gorgonzola - the cheese comes in rather large balls, at least the size of an acorn, and doesnt really crumble, but kind of mushes up. Crumbles would be the way to go here. The Philly Grilled Chicken ($6.55) is a very good sandwich - plenty of nicely marinated, grilled chicken, on a nice sub roll, with plenty of fresh tasting veggies. All in all, plenty to like here, especially for a quick, gotta get back to work lunch.

The wife and I were wanting good Philly cheesesteaks. Having lived just outside Philadelphia, Ive had the real thing. I can be picky. Hero House delivered a darn good sandwich. The atmosphere is fairly good. The only thing that detracted from it was one of the help. She was a lady with a face like several miles of bad road and nappy hair. I dont know if she was a supervisor, but she was certainly bossy. The other girl at the counter came out into the store to talk to her. Instead of telling her quietly, "You dont leave the counter unattended." She yells it so the whole dining room could hear, "I know you dint leave the counter empty." Also, she was wearing a pair of sprayed on jeans that showed about three inches of crack, before she bent over. Id go back for take out. Wont be eating in.

ordered ahead so that my food would be ready considering I only have 30 minutes for lunch and it takes me 20 minutes round trip to go get it. I ordered chicken spaghetti florentine w/o meat sauce because I dont eat red meat or pork. Once I got back to the office to eat my lunch I discovered that it had meat balls along with pork sausage in my spaghetti. Called back to the location and they stated that they made a mistake and to just bring it back. No concern for the fact that I was on lunch and they thinkf its no problem for them to make an order incorrect because people have nothing better to do than keep using their gas to run back and forth to restaurants for incorrect orders. Very poor service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the girls taking orders are snops, and rude. I sat there and herd all these girls talk bout people that make there check, there is only one nice girl there and her name is aly. and shes the only reason why I still eat there. but over all for the price, rude service, and food isnt worth eating there. and three days ago I was placing an ouder and I had see a roach crow across some ones food and the owner cami made them serve the food. and I seen 2 weeks ago aly pointed to the cook cause she had found a hair in my food, the cook pulled the hair out and serviced me my food.

All you need to know is the # 1. That number corresponds to this menu entry: Chicken Parmesan Sub Grilled marinated chicken, marinara and mozzarella cheese Their Chicken Parmesan Sub does not compare to others... It is so awesome. They have big chunks solid white meat chicken that appear to be grilled. Other places that sell a sandwich with the same name usually have what look like chicken nuggets instead. They are breaded and processed.. not solid. I have had little else on the menu, and am not a connoisseur of Greek food. The fries are also pretty good.

Normally come here and enjoy! Yes it is expensive for what you get, but normally ok. Today we come and my wife orders a steak and cheese, there was barely any steak on the sandwich. We approached the manager and said if we wanted more steak we needed to order another sandwich! Wow! I dont complain much but that was piss poor customer service!

This is always a great place for lunch, we love eating here! The food is always delicious and consistent. All the employees are nice, efficient, and fast. This is a nice place where you can expect great food and to be left alone while you eat, which I love. Family friendly and fast. Would recommend to a, especially the chicken slouvaki!

One of my favorite sub shops. I have been a customer since 1975 and their subs are as good today as they were when they first opened. My only complaint is that they will charge you for extra salad dressing if you get a salad and need more dressing. Otherwise they would have gotten a 5 star rating.

the parking lot is narrow. the female employees are nicer to male employees than to the females. And not nice at all sometimes. The food is good. and plenty of food on the plates. The prices are moderate. No wifi. Good choice of food on the menu.

Inconsistent food quality and the service wasnt friendly and the tables were not clean. But the onion rings were excellent. The meatball sub was very good and the chicken philly was great. But the turkey sub had stale bread.

Weve been coming for years to get the tasty sandwiches and salads. Dont bother with the shakes or soft serve, but everything else on their menu is worth ordering. Can get crowded during the dinner hour.

One of my favorite Sandwich Places...tends to be crowded, which is a sign of how good it is! However, the only reason I dont give them 5 stars isnt he parking...tough lot to get in and out.

One of my favorite places to eat. Ive never had anything bad from here. Not sure how they make a ham and cheese so much better than other places. Staff is friendly.
