Stopped in on a whim while visiting the area from up north. I was expecting another glorified cake mix and tub frosting type establishment. What I found was anything but! High quality "real" ingredients. If your the type who enjoys tasteless cheap bakery items from large chain establishments smothered in hydrogenated sugar globs then this place may not be your speed. If you would pay anything for a taste of your Italian grandmothers almond cookies, a bite of rich dense creamy ny cheese cake or an eclair that isnt a soggy log of canned pudding than please stop here. You wont be disappointed.

Stopped in today, 12/21/15 for the first time. Everything looks so good. I took home 6 large and 6 small NY cannolis. When I got home I tried the small cannoli, glad I did or I would have eaten most of them on the ride home. It was delicious and tasted just like the ones I used to get at an Italian bakery in NJ. I will definitely be back for more.

Local bakery in Shallotte, NC with a southern hospitality atmosphere. Owner was working in the shop when we went and had a conversation about how she got started, super sweet! To top off the experience, the treats were delicious and gluten free options were available! Will definitely return.

Cant say enough about the totally delicious (and beautiful) cake we ordered from Monique recently! The entire experience was 5 star - from walking into the door of the wonderful bakery to picking up the cake. Go there - you wont be disappointed! Youll only want to go back again and again!
