All I have to say is wow... This place is so authentic and phenomenal! From what Ive always heard and been told, the ramen broth is supposed to be the masterpiece of the ramen chef, so I must speak to this. The broth is perfect. Its the right amount of creaminess, saltiness, and savory. The. Best. Period. Now to everything else. The noodles were fresh and homemade; very tasty. The chasu (pork belly) was cooked perfect; was falling apart in my mouth. The egg, which is my second favorite part (broth being my fav), was to die for. It was perfectly soft boiled, a great amount of creaminess, and I could tell it was marinated for a good amount of time; I recommend eating this by itself. Ive had many ramen bowls and must say that this is my favorite. After eating this bowl, I was in euphoria... I had a chance to meet the chef, Tony, and he was a very nice man [it was nice to meet you]! Overall, this place is amazing. If you want a great, authentic ramen experience, make this your new favorite place to go; its definitely mine.

Great little japanese restaurant tucked away in Matthews. Besides ramen the menu is filled with plenty of authentic japanese dishes. The chicken karaage was good, marinated well. Fried white meat instead of the traditional dark meat but was very good regardless. The japanese mayo could use a bit of enhancement. The octopus balls were very good. Spicy seafood ramen was well done. The broth was nice. My friend ordered the shoyu ramen it was a but different from the shoyu ramen weve had in the past. I wonder if it was just the tonkotsu base with additional soy sauce added to make it shoyu. It was a good broth though. Service was good. The restaurant has about 8 tables so it can get crowded in there. Recommend getting there early or youll be waiting.

This place is great for authentic Japanese dining. They have a lot of dishes you dont really see in other Japanese restaurants like shrimp and egg soup and grilled whole mackerel. This place has an amazing menu. I usually come here for a good hearty bowl of Tonkotsu ramen (Pork broth ramen) or the Katsudon (fried pork tenderloin on a bed of rice and sauce). The staff are really friendly and want you to enjoy the meal. The owners often greet you personally and sometimes gives you a dish to try if they are not too busy. I love this place because of the people and food. Would recommend to all my friends!

This small and quiet Japanese restaurant has some amazing ramen with all the right toppings! If you are a ramen fan, then you know how important the egg is, and this place does it right. The egg is perfectly soft-boiled and marinated. Dont forget the takoyaki! Ive tried takoyaki at ALL the places that offer them in Charlotte and theyve been a disappointment except for YUME Bistro. Great customer service as well! I came in 6 minutes before closing and the husband and wife team were still happy to serve me and cook me some delicious food!

It was good. I think I need to expand my pallette and choose some other options as well to get eh full experience. Overall seems like most in our party enjoyed their food and what someone didnt like the next person did and at theirs. The owner and cook as well as the staff seemed accommodating and pleasurable, only negative remark is too come by sooner and ask if people need refills. The space feels small and cramped, but yet clean and tidy. Perhaps the owners didnt suspect it would be a popular destination.

Moved to Indian Trail not too long ago and found Yume when shopping at its neighboring grocery store. This place has amazing ramen at fair prices and it is always on point. We often order their ramen bowls to go, and they package very cleanly to make the process of taking it home extremely easy. Orders are always correct and very fast, whether we dine in or get it to go. Highly recommend for anyone!

Best authentic Japanese cuisine Ive ever had! The Tonkotsu Spicy Miso Ramen and kimchi are to die for! The kimchi is home-made over a 45 day process. The serving size for the 15 dollar price is more than fair. If you can slurp a bowl dry, you have my respect. Thank you YUME! Service and food were absolutely great! Ill be back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Stallings/Indian Trail. The food is delicious (my favorite thing to get is the Miso Ramen), and the service is excellent. The owner always comes out to talk to the customers and see how their experience is. Im so happy to have a restaurant like this in the area!

Very good authentic ramen. Service was excellent. Knocking one star only because sweet tea tasted a bit strange. Almost as if it had been sitting out for awhile, but other than that its a great little place. Very small inside so try to come outside of peak hours if you dont want to wait.

I love this place because their noodles are handmade! You can tell because the texture is exceptionally chewy, unlike noodles that are pre-packaged. Also very affordable too. $10 can buy you a huge bowl of noodles and 3 banchan plates, which can feed 2 people.

Great service, delicious food, reasonable pricing. The Korean kimchi ramen was the best ramen I have ever had. I will definitely be eating here regularly, and I will introduce my friends too. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.

Great food and wonderful service. Place is nothing fancy but it felt like you were at a friends home having a family dinner. Perhaps only suggestion Id make is for some authentic Japanese artwork. Highly recommend their food. Will visit again!

Very authentic Ramen, just had the Ahi Poke and it was delicious, fresh and a large serving of Ahi tuna. The Shoyu Ramen is just like what I am used to eating in Hawaii and Tokyo!

Tiny place, BIG flavor! Ive only had Raman like this in the islands of Hawaii. Worth the wait if the place is full.
