My family and I called and reserved a table for 10 the next day for dinner. When we arrived, the hostess stated that we would have to be split up and seated at two different tables despite our reservation. After some insistence, we were able to convince them to push together three tables to seat us together. One of the children asked for Sprite, and our waitress said they were out. He then asked for lemonade, and the waitress replied that they were also out of lemonade. When another member of our party asked for a cup of the creamy crab bisque, the waitress again replied that they were out; however, she came back a few minutes later and stated that they did have the soup. For my entree, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger prepared Medium, as did one other member of our party. The two pictures of the inside of the burgers, which are vastly different in colors, were both ordered as Medium. The chopped onions of completely different sizes were haphazardly scattered within the burger. The "bacon" included on the burger was not bacon at all but rather bacon bits. In fact, the other member of our party who also ordered the bacon cheeseburger noticed that there was no bacon on his burger when it came out; the waitress brought him a small cup of bacon bits (pictured) as the "solution". One other member of our party ordered the 6 oz. Angus filet mignon, a large portion of which was inedible gristle that was unable to be cut even with a steak knife (also pictured). She ended up sending the dish back and requesting it be taken off her ticket. In summary - neither myself nor any member of my family would recommend eating at this restaurant.

Beer: 3/5. They were out out our first choice which was the Red. The brown was quite good, but the IPA was mediocre at best. Food: 2/5. Wifes fried flounder sandwich was good. My BBQ sandwich left much to be desired. First it was dry...it tastes like it had spent some significant time under a heat lamp and/or in a microwave. Second, it was very poorly shredded. There were several large (2x1.5"x1") chunks of unshredded meat on my sandwich. Forgivable if on a platter where you are using utensils, but not on a sandwich. I shouldnt have to deconstruct my sandwich to shred it myself before eating it. The worst was my sons "chicken tenders". What came out was 4 hunks of breaded chicken (think quartered chicken breast) that were COLD and RAW on the inside. We kept the side of apple sauce that came with it (single serve Motts) so he would at least have something to eat but told them to cancel his order since it would not be out until after we were done eating. He was obviously still hungry so we asked for another little single serving of apple sauce. She was nice when she brought it out, but ended up charging us $1.50 for it! (A 6 pack you put in your kids lunchbox costs less than than that) AND, she acted like she/they were doing us a favor! Im sorry...NO, the reason we needed another applesauce is because you tried to give my kid food poisoning by serving him raw chicken. I cannot recommend and we will NOT be back.

Food was very bad. Crab dip tasted like cream cheese that was baked and had a little crab on top. Nachos had barely any cheese, black beans where dry and cracked, salsa tasted like it was from can, fish for fish and chips was done in a box beer batter and came soggy, fries where low quality. Even the local yellow fin tuna even tho it had beautiful color, it had been frozen and had lost its integrity. Being a restaurant owner I know how its hard to keep your profit margins in the right bracket but at the price point of their food, there should be no problem making your food fresh and delicious. If your not into quality food then you shouldnt be in the business.Service also was lacking but was overshadowed by the food.I would highly suggest finding a place where the people work hard at what they do , care about the quality of food they give to their customers and take pride in it. This place is not it.

Supposed to open at 11, but we were among a decent sized crowd of folks still waiting outside at 11:15, while employees came and went through the adjacent kitchen entrance, without so much as a glance at the potential clientele. Finally got inside & were seated quickly enough. Went to use the restroom on the way to the table, but both unisex bathrooms were occupied by employees, one of whom was fixing her hair behind the ajar door for something like five full minutes. Staff seemed surly at worst, or disinterested at best. Anyway, beer was ok, the food was not great. Burger was made from an obviously mass-produced, frozen patty. Fries were luke-warm despite being among the first orders of the day. Not sure what was going on that day, to cause the late opening, etc., but the food should have been better regardless.

Rude service . They were out of 3 beers . Both IPAs and one other. We asked if we could try a couple drops of 2 others and the waitress said uh no thats what the sampler is for. She didnt even greet us when she came over. Then the African American waitress reluctantly said we could try 2 . I guess its OK she was just lazy. As we waited for her to come back with the samples we sipped the water she put out with straws all ready in and my wife said OMG what is this? So I sipped mine and I said Im not sure but its disgusting. It tasted like toilet water with sugar very very strange. We just got up and walked away. How is a brewery out of 3 beers anyway its not that busy yet. Dont drink the water. If thats the same water they use to brew the beer I wouldnt drink it either good luck

Worst food, service, and beer! We were in town for the day and decided to stop at lost colony. After reviewing the menu, and looking at the price point we figured the food would be good. Every person in our party was unable to finish their food. I had the fish and chips which was over breaded and soggy along with soggy fries. The nachos were topped with cold canned foods and canned chicken. The burgers were either over or undercooked and tasted old, even the tuna was chewy and bad. To top it off the beers we ordered were warm and tasted horrible. The service was also slow and rude. I was also hit with an added grutuity to top it off even though I was paying separate from the rest of the party. Do your self a favor and find another establishment to go too.

The place is pretty good but we came in with a party of 12 and we called ahead to see if they have room for us. They said yes but when we got there they split us up. To me that isnt good table management. I offered a simple solution but then I heard a waitress complain audibly where we could hear it that she would loose a table. Again not professional to me. I would give the food a 4 out of 5. I would give the service a 2 out of 5. I cant vouch for the beer or desserts because I felt as though our party was more of an inconvenience than good income so we didnt stay long. Lastly this isnt a local place. The guy who runs the joint is from out of state so it felt weird eating at a place that isnt run from someone from that area.
