Ive been ordering food from Nostra for over a year. They deliver and its around the corner from my house. Its never great, but its tolerable. Pizza is good! Pasta dishes? OK! Meat dishes, meh. But my last order? Just awful. When I called to have it refunded/replaced, the woman was rude. She would not take me at my word, even after 1.5 years of loyalty; she said she "had to talk to the driver who brought me my food, that would take 1 hour." Wow. Way to lose a customer. And, our order of garlic cheese bread never came because the guy on the phone misunderstood! So, when we asked for it to be replaced, she says "You have to pay for it because you werent charged for it." Really? You want to lose a long-time loyal customer over $4.50? We order from yall frequently, as do our neighbors, (thanks to us!). Im not kidding! I have told NUMEROUS neighbors w/in walking/driving distance about Nostra!! Now, I plan to spread the word to everyone in my neighborhood, and I know them all, to AVOID NOSTRA at all costs. Unless they want to give me my cheesey garlic bread, I will make sure my neighbors (most of whom are family) know how they treat a customer who is not fully satisfied. Just to be clear, My review WOULDVE been 5 stars had NOSTRAs treated me with respect when I was dissatisfied with my chicken cacciatore and the lack of cheesy garlic bread. Really, even if your guy didnt charge me for it, you couldve compd me an order of something SO SMALL!!! But no, you chose to send it to MY HOUSE and ASK FOR ME TO PAY FOR IT??? Ive been a customer who orders from yall for so long, I do not deserve your nasty attitude. You will close down like every other restaurant in that plaza. MAKE IT RIGHT and I will rescind this review.

As a native of northern New Jersey, I’ve always had a soft spot for Italian-American cuisine. There is something comforting in the familiar pasta-and-red sauce, and it’s all the better when it’s in walking distance. So when Nostra opened at the former Elizabeth’s Pizza location, I had reason to be satisfied. Inside, Nostra isn’t particularly large, but it doesn’t feel at all cramped. Comfortable booths and wall art elevate the décor above that of a standard pizza parlor. There was one waitress during my first visit, and though a bit distracted, she was unfailingly polite. Nostra’s menu offers everything you’d expect, plus a few perks like lobster ravioli. Pricing is quite reasonable: every entrée runs between $10 and $13 and includes bread and soup or salad. Many of the entrees can be had with bread and a drink during weekday lunch hours for a mere $8 to $9. The execution has room for improvement, but it hits more than it misses. An order of gnocchi Bolognese came with a so-so salad, an abundance of melted cheese, and a sauce that was a touch too sweet for my liking, but the bread was excellent and the gnocchi were cooked well. The regular stromboli featured a crust that some may find too crisp, but the meats (ham, salami, and pepperoni) were quality, and the well-herbed marinara sauce tasted homemade. I later had a chance to try a slice of sausage pizza, and it did not disappoint. The slice was huge (comparable to Marios) and a good value at $3 or so. The pizza sauce, like the marinara, tasted fresh with distinct herb notes, and the sausage was above par. The crust, while thin and crisp, could have used more flavor (some garlic, perhaps?).

This place is horrible. We ordered from here before and it was very good. So we decided to do it again and they messed up the order. I called them and they refused to fix it because the delivery boy said the order was right and was not driving back here to bring me food. I told him they have to fix the order since they took my money and it wasnt correct. He still refused so I told him fine, Im coming to you. I got there and they offered a new sandwich that was already made before I got there, like Id trust them. I told them no and they refunded the money. This place has horrible service and dont care about customers. Therefore, we will not be returning.

If I could put anything lower than 1 star I would. I have been going to this place for over two years. Great food HORRIBLE customer service. I told myself after my last experience that I would never order from there again. I tried again tonight but they just kept sending my phone call to voicemail. Online it says they close at 9:30 I called at 8:48 and I kept getting my call ignored. I know it was intentional because it was less rings the 2nd and 3rd time I tried. I eat here at least three times a month. I have recommended this place to a lot of people. Never again. Like some other folks say on here they dont give two craps about their customers.

I really hate to give negative reviews, but this was quite possibly the worst pizza Ive ever had in my life. Im really not kidding. Flavorless, overly dry, and so crunchy that it didnt just tear up the roof of my mouth, but it also tore up my TONGUE! Now, I realize, being originally from Connecticut, that I am incredibly spoiled by New Haven Pizza, but Im not joking when I say that Ive had Papa Johns that was better than this. Truly!

Everything I order was good I order a lamb gyro and chicken gyro for me and my husband The only complaint I have is that I order a speciality pizza with bacon added to it and it just came with pizza bacon and cheese but charged me a 16$ pizza unfortunately I was at work when I ordered it and didnt know what it looked like till store had closes but I will be calling them tommorow but above all that it still was good food

It took a complete time of 30 minutes for somebody to eventually come ask us if we ordered yet but whats even more sad is we had to get up after 10minutes and order our own food because we couldnt get any service.. They go and serve all of the white people but couldnt even come our way, even the guy who TOOK OUR ORDER! Their pizza is really good but the service here makes me not ever want to come back..

This is crazy been wait 30 mins on my food then someone comes to me and ask can I take your order..... Wtf Im waiting on my food and your rude manager that only seems too see the white and Spanish ppl in the restaurant..... I wont come back to this place nor will I send anyone here too eat... Here I am 20 mins later and still no food

I dont usually do reviews, but felt i needed to in this case. To be fair, they were open less than a month when we went, but it was awful. When trying a new pizza place, we always have a plain cheese pie in the restaurant (not to go). It tasted cheap and the ingredients had no flavor.

This place is absolutely amazing. Great pastas, salads, strombolis, pizzas, everything! Its my go to place in Greensboro. They deliver fast and are always pleasant. One time the delivery was late due to the prior customer falling asleep, and they made sure to discount me.
