CLASSICS with a surprising and funky menu. We were celebrating a few things modestly and read in another review to ask for the lemon something or another (if Im able to, Ill follow up with the punchline plate :/ ) The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere a mello, vibrant vibe with a staff that acted as if they created their own Cheers-esque Asian-sports bar dripping with a funked down tempo feng shui.Im not an expert cuisine taster or food connoisseur, but Id recommend this is you are a Pho fan/Hot & Sour sap or want a small, chill, dimmly-lit place to read and eat, celebrate an anneversary, study, or drink and watch a game on the TV. Our waitress, Dani, was a doll. She was friendly and personable unto sharing a bit about her background to relate to us, then sent us on our way to a bar literally around the corner and under the establishment we just left. Open later than 9 Casual or "metro-dressy" Small with generous seating options Approachable staff that aim to please 5 stars!

We have known Chi since he worked with his brother-in-law, Phong at Zen. We were excited to find out that he opened his own restaurant. We used to live in Charlotte, but are now in Vermont, so we had to wait until we came back down to try it out. I tried it out last summer when I was down and my wife, Lorraine, got to go for the first time last night. I am amazed at how good it is. Zen is also great, but Chi and his dad out do Zen for Asian. The appetizers look fantastic and taste even better. The main dishes are meals that you will think about over and over days after you have eaten them. They will call you back over and over again. The price point is excellent. Persuasian has moved right up amount my list of top restaurants for when we are in Charlotte. Like Zen, where we have always had good meals and good times over the years (we are in Charlotte pretty regularly), we now have Persuasian also, but with even better food. If you have not tried the restaurant, treat yourself.

I wish I tried dining in because the previous reviews sound pleasant! Unfortunately, my take-out was very dry chicken as was my fiancées chicken entrée. I didnt eat but a couple bites before I stopped due to the texture but my fiancée tried since it was late and we were tired from a long day of work. She became very very sick. She called the next day to ask for a refund but the lady who answered had my fiancée in tears and hung up on her. I tried to call back and the woman hung up on me! This went on a couple more times until she handed the phone to the manager who was more then kind and told us the refund is absolutely okay. Im very glad the manager helped this situation out. Our bad experience doesnt mean it will happen to everyone but I just hope the lady who answered the phone never does that to anyone else! I will never understand why people who dislike people work in customer-related jobs!

We ordered our meals online and picked it up. I ordered the Thai Basil Sauce with Shrimp. My husband ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi. We were both disappointed. The portions are quite modest and there was only a hint of flavor. My husbands hibachi only had four (4) shrimp in it. On a positive note, the brown rice was cooked well. The price point is decent, but the value just isnt there for us. Our quest for terrific, reasonably Asian cuisine in Southend/Dilworth continues.

The food here has great flavors and was liked by our China guests for authentic flavor with quality ingredients. The best Chinese in Charlotte we experienced. The staff is awesome and was helpful to make sharing a few apps and plates easy. Great atmosphere with specialty selections and traditional favorites. Highly recommend for Chinese in the Charlotte area.

Very nice. Good atmosphere and good service. Some of the best hot and sour soup in town and I have tried at least 20 different versions in the area. The bar must be decent as it appeared to have a couple regulars. Also looked like good wine/beer selection. Recommend for intimate date night or a quiet but fun hang out.

Our food was excellent and we will be back often. I highly recommend Persuasian as an exceptional meal. Our family is vegetarian and we particularly recommend the Moo Shu and lettuce wraps. . . our stir fry dishes were perfectly prepared as well. Thank you, Chi.

This is a go-to spot for our family. The food is superb, and the staff friendly. They even have a great book selection, and our children are content to read until the food arrives. Delicious Pho, fresh rolls, and other delights.
