Pay no mind to the the old hateful reviews. Total BS. This is a great place to get your take-out Chinese food! Of all the items on the menu, their Hot and Sour Soup is outstanding. It is very much unlike the rest of the offerings in Savannah as it has a unique clean and zesty freshness. Not sure how they achieved such great flavor, but I do know they do use cilantro and possibly lemongrass. SOOOO good! The fried rice is classic and delicious, not suspiciously yellow. The Lo Mein is also excellent. The entree meats are really tender, although maybe steer away from the "chicken-on-a-stick". They use breast cuts which ends up dry and leathery. Other places use dark cuts, such as thigh meat, which is my first choice when doing chicken in any format. Overall Chef Wan is THE place to order!

Waited almost an hour and a half for our delivery, which they forgot about. We called to check on our order, which luckily served as a reminder. Our food arrived hot and the portion sizes are large, although the food is very expensive. We ordered two specials. The fried rice was terrible! Ordered wonton soup and couldnt make it past a single bite; even the crisps for the soup were stale and unpleasant. Ive never wanted to trash my Chinese leftovers before tonight..

The customer service is horrible. I asked them to put my sauce on the side and because the guy could not understand why he became biligerant and obnixious! He hung up in my face! FYI : No I was not nasty with him because I realized they were the cook! Lol They advertise delivery but its only during lunch time. They need to realize they are not that great and poor service will cause them to close! Clean up to your crappie Customers Service !

Just had the worst experience with Chef wan, just in the ordering process. Cant get your food how you want it, cant get even 1 shrimp sauce with a $9 box of shrimp fried rice, asked me for the drivers tip before he even got here which now could take forever, or be cold or something. Hope not because I will tip more if it gets here in a decent time. Will update afterwards. Had I felt better I would have gone to Panda

Shrimp with garlic sauce should be Shrimp with Onions. There must have been an entire slivered onion with the one entree, doused in an overly sugary sauce lacking garlic flavor. Only positive was that the shrimp were large and fresh tasting. Kung Pao Chicken was super boring, another repetitive sugar sauce, no more than dark meat chicken parts and peanuts. Please try harder, we want to like you!

Waited an hour for delivery that never showed. Called them and they tried to tell me that I would have to wait another 30-45. I asked if they could do anything for me for the troubles and they quickly declined. I cancelled my order and they happily hung up. They probably shouldnt let kids manage the phone. Never ordering from here again.

I was told my food would be here in 45 minutes. I call after an hour and the girl tells me that theyre just now cooking my food! Then she tells me that theres an hour and 15min wait. Had they told me that I would have just driven to get food! Its now been 65 min and Im still waiting! This better be the BEST Chinese food ever.

Absolute worst service on the island. It used to be good. They have been on a stay decline since 2013. Im not sure what happened but now theyre super rude and they take forever. The food is good but does not outweigh the trashy attitudes.

Best Chinese food on the island. Staff is friendly, large portion size. I love their online ordering because I can make special requests much easier that way. Hours are a bit odd so you have to plan ahead. But definitely would recommend.

Chef Wan has the best Chinese food in the Wilmington Island area. Like most Chinese in Savannah, it isnt amazing, but it is tasty and filling (large dinner portions), and so far the best option around the Islands.

Im amazed at the reviews...but then I tend to order pretty much the same things: Chicken with broccolli, shrimp in garlic sauce, General Tsos chicken, vegetable lo mein...Ive been enjoying their take-out for years.

Nice service. Delicious. Restaurant is a bit bright so i suspect thats why tables are usually open, but this place does amazing takeout service.
