Walking in the place is clean, always a good sign. We ordered chocolate shakes but the Ice cream tasted like chocolate water - no flavor at all. They were out of whipped cream - do not eat the "ice milk" No desserts were on hand They do offer wifi - password is BurgerTime! Sweet potato fries have cinnamon and sugar on them. These are thick (like steak fries), good flavor but had too much cinnamon and sugar. Theyre good! Must have Hot dogs are all beef. Chili - We asked if onions were in the chili, the lady said "uh, we dont have beans and we make it daily" but she didnt know if it did have onions, nor did she go ask. The burgers were very good, and are highly recommended. Theyre made to order and didnt taste frozen. The salad "Southern fried chicken" is fresh, the chicken wasnt dry. The chicken does look like nuggets. Its good! This place is pricy, and for a family of 4 we spent $35

Dining area is small but fairly comfortable, clean and bright. When the guy working the counter finally lazily made his way to the counter he didnt welcome us or even look at me while taking our order. The girl working the dining room wasnt any friendlier and it wouldve been nice if she hadnt chosen to come to work in shorts that would also pass for underwear. They had really really good sweet tea that we enjoyed while we waited a ridiculously long time for our food 32 min to be exact (watched several patrons leave while we waited) The food was awesome! Great burger and fries! Paid $28 for two burgers an order of fries, an order of loaded potatoe skins and, two drinks. Food is worth the price...... if only the service was.

It was ok... First I must say after reading the reviews I was excited about going here to get a burger. I was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked so they cooked it well done which to me is over cooked. My burger was just ok nothing special not a lot of flavoring. My husband had the Philly and it was dry and not very flavorful. A sub you make at home would have tasted better. The lemonade as well was just ok. My husband decided to get desert while he was there. The cookies were like everything else just ok... kinda dry. On the positive the service was nice and the place was clean. But over all it was ok nothing to write home about.

The food was OK but to be charged 3% for using a credit card is a little ridiculous in a resort community. Further, I did not see any place where they publish this. They just bury it in the charges and leave the customer to figure out what happened. Sorry, but if you hit the customer with charges but do not inform the customer, that is no less than stealing. The cashier could not even figure out how to even print a detailed receipt that would explain why the bill was higher than expected.

By far the best food experience we have had on the obx. The prices are about even with every other place out here. This place had fantastic hamburgers, the best sweet tea, and sweet potato fries that will change your life. The serivce was very friendly and we got our food within 5 mins of placing our order. Overall id say this place is a must on the obx eatery list

Come in on Saturday 3rd for lunch. Right after hurricane Hermine hit. Really was the only place open everyone else closed do to flooding. Do to that they were very busy. Staff was very friendly came and checked on us several times. Food came out quicker then expected and was delicious only reason for 4 stars the chicken wings were very small not worth a dollar a piece.

Great tasting hot dogs, but maybe I havent been in the market for a hot-dog lately, because it seems a little steep for a regular-sized hot-dog (around $4.50 per dog, if I recall). That doesnt include drink or side. I am accustomed to paying much less for a dog in the Piedmont, but then again, everything is more expensive on the Outer Banks typically.

Second year in a row now of enjoying their freshly prepared, delicious food. Very clean place with helpful, friendly staff, but when busy you may have to wait longer than you would like. Thats because nothing is sitting around being kept warm; it is all cooked to order and in my opinion thats worth waiting for. We love the shrimp po boys!!

Came here with my family in an hour long search for food (Mainly for the beer), sat dowb had a tex mex burger and thats hands down one of the best burgers Ive had in years. Juicy hand shaped burger on a warm toasted sesame seed bun topped with chili, cheese, fried jalapeños and fried onions. I will definitely be returning everytime Im in OBX.

My wife and I ate here for lunch today great food,reasonable prices and the owner a wonderful and hospitable lady.We literally stumbled upon this place because I wanted a good burger and the Carolina burger and onion rings were delicious.My wife had the hot wing meal which was great.If your in the area stop by.

3 1/2 stars. We stopped in for early lunch in December . Definitely not peak season. We were the only people there. The server/cook was very pleasant and helpful. I got a salad and my wife got a burger. The food was OK, but not great. We would stop here again, if we are in the area.

Ate here two times in one week after a late stay on Ocracoke Island. Great food and reasonably priced. Service was quick considering the food was cooked only after ordering. Highly recommend a stop here. No need to dress up either. Stopped im wearing bathing suits.

Stopped for lunch after visiting the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and loved the burger and fries. Daughters chicken sandwich looked good too. Food was made to order and everything tasted very fresh. Would love to try the Kinnakeet Monster fish sandwich next time!

The classic burger was one of the best burgers Ive had in a long time. Not the thickest patty ever, but extremely tasty and cooked perfectly. Fresh toppings put it over the top. Im a burger nut...if you are too, get one...or two...or get their double.

Ate several times here. Burgers delicious. .. fries hot, crisp and plentiful! ! Clam strip basket was wonderful... tender and so tasty!! Crab cake sandwich really tasty but a little too soft!! Overall. ... a great, reasonably priced place to eat!!

Stopped in to grab lunch after a 7 hour drive. Burgers were good and the wraps were good. Neither of the children ate the chicken in the kids chicken basket (all breading and no chicken). Prices are fair. Service is good, very nice staff.

Reasonably priced, delicious food. The crabcake sandwich was excellent, and my husband reported that the burger was also really good. Enjoyed the free refills on fountain sodas. Cute mid century diner atmosphere.

Service was ridiculously slow. It wasnt extremely busy and we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food. That being said, I had the fish and it was great! Tasted very fresh and the portion was large. Id eat it again.

Stopped here our first night in OBX. Burgers were good. We had the mushroom burger, smile burger, and two BBQ burgers. Three salads and a fry. Sweet tea was good. Prices comparable. Friendly and prompt service.
