Could have been great, service was terrible. Stopped in Asheville to visit the Biltmore Estate and decided to eat at the Creperie afterwards. It was a Monday night, so when we arrived, there werent many people dining. Our food was good. The fries were fantastic. However, as the night wore on, the restaurant became busier and busier and our server visited our table less often. Why the sour experience? We ordered one desert, the chocolate mousse, and waited for it to arrive. After fifteen minutes, our server brought the check, but no desert. When asked, she said she would check on it. I should mention this is a restaurant you can see the kitchen and everything that goes in and out. After five additional minutes, we saw a chocolate mousse placed on the outgoing window, but it was delivered to another table. At this point a second server came and took our dirty plates and we asked her about the mousse, and we asked if the mousse was already made, sitting in the refrigerators? She confirmed this and said she would check on it. Another eight minutes passed until someone brought us a desert, but it wasnt the chocolate mousse we ordered. This was returned, and our original waitress came to the table apologizing for her mixup. I reminded her that the mousse is sitting already made in the refrigerator and maybe she could just go get it. She then proceeded to blame the kitchen and the other server who tried helping us (with the desert we didnt order). At this point, we asked if she could just take it off the check, but she couldnt because she already charged our credit card(if you go there, make sure everything is said and done before paying. Lesson learned on my part). She was extremely stressed and she showed it by her mannerisms, language and approach. She left abruptly and then returned with a voucher, saying that she couldnt refund the mousse since we already paid. Well, were not from here and dont expect to be passing through any time soon. Telling her this, set her off into a tirade of blaming the kitchen, other servers, and herself. She became very worked up and we became upset that she was standing there yelling about all the reasons we have been waiting for this one desert rather than just going and getting it for us. I asked why she wasnt going to get it, and this just made her continue repeating who was to blame for us waiting almost thirty minutes for a desert. During her tirade, I took out the check and put a line through the tip space. Her behavior for a server was totally out of line. We gave her every opportunity to make things right, but all we got was an extremely stressful end to our meal. She failed to get a tip not because we didnt receive the desert we had paid for, but for the nasty way she talked to us at the end. Her tip was about the same as the price of the mousse, so maybe she could use the voucher she tried to give us. At any rate, we will never go back if we find ourselves hungry in Asheville again.

I wanted to like this place! My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was semi busy. It took a server about 15-20 minutes to approach our table. I ordered the crepe with ham, cheese, and apples. My crepe arrived without apples. I notified the server, who brought me a small plate of sliced apples. I guess I was supposed to stuff the apples in the crepe? I asked her if the kitchen could make me another. The second crepe was not good and was obviously quickly thrown together by the kitchen. The cheese was halfway melted and the apples were tasteless. The fries were good and the dish my friend ordered looked great. Maybe I was unlucky. Not sure if Ill be going back again.

AMAZING FOOD!!! The food is to Die for, what turned me off was the actual experience. The server was good but never checked on us, the actual person who delivered the food was a little unrifined and impolite. Also the food delivery people keeped coming to our table with other peoples orders, maybe work on a system to not keep doing that its pretty distracting, 3 times servers came to our table with other peoples orders.

My mother and I went to Bouchon Creperie last night so I could enjoy the all you can eat mussels. I made a request for one of the sauces to the waiter and next thing I know the chef came out and discussed it with me to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted! It was incredible- I have never had such wonderful and thoughtful service at a restaurant in downtown Asheville. Splendid, just splendid!

Nice and warm feel. Waiting service was excellent and handled an influx of people appropriately. The chinatown crepe is salty and nothing about it resembles chinatown. The escargot was delicious. Breading putting was dryer than expected but still good. Theres another Bouchon 2 doors down that is different so dont confuse them 2.

I love this place! The menu has several naturally gluten free items, including a dedicated GF fryer! We split a cheese filled crepe and fries, and felt like it was a solid lunch. If you are with a more "american" eater, then there is plenty of sandwiches to accommodate that style of culinary preference.

Every single thing we ate was delectable! Poutine was incredible. Unlike any French fry Ive ever had. The (Gluten Free!) Crepes are divine! Wonderful rich flavors. Our server was very friendly. Really wish this was not 6 hours from my home! Will definitely be back anytime Im anywhere near Asheville!

Fantastic place! Had the Duck, Duck, Goat, which was ok. Fries were yummy! Had dessert - the Nutella & Berry Crepe was really gooood! I would probably not go back for dinner, but I would take my wife out for a dessert/drink place for a date night. Good service, great atmosphere.

Really delicious food (the fries are a MUST have) and a wonderful tucked away courtyard setting. Very good gluten free options as well, crepes included. Options and portions were wonderful and prices were moderate, not too high. Definitely a nice spot in downtown Asheville.

Terrible service, we went over there and it took 10 minutes before we had a glass of water, and then probably another 10 or 15, minutes before a waitress showed up to let us know we needed to wait a little be more! Then we had to leave because anybody else showed up.

Loved my duck confit crepe (Chinatown) and the perfectly crispy fries. The decor is French and fun, and there is an outdoor patio as well. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. And French cafe music! Oh, and the crepes are naturally gluten free. Thank you!!!

We have been here several times. Each time is a treat! My wife cannot have corn or gluten and I no gluten. They have knowledgeable staff who have cheerfully gone above and beyond to make sure they had options we could enjoy! THE FRIES ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!
