My favorite place for dinner, lunch, and now Sunday Brunch. Wait-staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Chef Eddie does a wonderful job showing off his creativity using fresh local ingredients including grass fed beef from a farm just a couple miles away. I always look forward to his specials. Equally on par is the specialty drinks menu. Lots of original creations you cannot find in other establishments. Ive also come to learn the Bloody Mary I had with brunch was made with fresh organic tomato juice made at another local farm. Love this. I find the Iron Furnace to have a clean, warm atmosphere, with lots of smiles and good laughs.

The food here is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Ive gone here a number of times as its right around the corner from my house. I have never had a bad experience with the food or the service. Their furnace burger is probably the best burger Ive ever had. This small restaurant is gaining in popularity, so I suggest calling ahead to get a table. There is really nowhere to wait for a table besides the bar area, which gets crowded quickly.

We pulled off the Taconic for lunch, and are very pleased that we did. The food was obviously made with care, and Gina the bartender (leave a good tip shes planning a wedding!!) was very sweet. Great place to stop for a few beers (not for the driver of course!) and a sandwich. Didnt have the Sunday brunch but got to try to roasted jalapeño aioli, delicious! Worth the detour!

Im sitting at the bar after having had a taste of the clam chowder, the house rub wings, and a sip of the taconic honey suckle and BOY DO YOU NEED TO EAT HERE NOW. Theres a secret in every recipe and its totally worth the highway detour if youre wondering. Every aspect of this place is above par. Thank you for the excellent service!!!!

Food was excellent. Ambiance was very loud. It was hard to talk to people across the table. We went on a Friday night at 6:00, & place was very busy. Might be better to go during the week. You need reservations. We will recommend to our friends.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with melted cheddar on a brioche roll. The roll was partially burned instead of toasted. The pulled pork with the melted cheese was dry and over cooked as if it was heated on the grill like a hamburger patty.

Im not a bar person but I love sitting in the bar when I come here. Very cozy. Never had a bad meal here. I love the sriracha crispy chicken sandwich. Whatever coating they use on the chicken is freaking amazingly crispy. So good!
