My wife and I just ate there after a day on the beach. Ive been in the family restaurant business for 35 years so I understand that good help is sometimes hard to find. However, our experience was just inexcusable. First the wine glasses they brought out were filthy. Then, after eating our oysters, he removes the plates and spills water/oyster juice all over the table and never bothers to wipe it. Finally, worst part of all, I asked for a spoon for my espresso and the waiter literally brought a used, dirty spoon that looked like someone had just eaten a tartufo with it. Which they do serve. My wife and I were completely baffled! is the waiter that clueless?! Obviously needs basic training on being a server. Only reason Im giving 2 stars is b/c the food was actually ok. Hoping the the owner sees this so he can save his business. Happy to privately share the servers name.

this place was awful. walked in and got seated inside right next to the kitchen. we got our drinks and realized there was no ice and the soda was flat. then tried other drinks and they were bad too. no one would give us ice. then the service was terrible. so slow and rude. the staff kept screaming and pushing my chair out of the way while i was sitting in it, and were wiping off sweat while making the food. there were flies everywhere. food came and the pizza was soggy and uncooked. staff looked pissed every second and none of them should work in the restaurant industry. i am thirteen and even i know this place is not worth coming to. spent over and hour here waiting for food and now i know that my two hours were wasted here. DO NOT COME!!

Its a nicely decorated place. I came here for drinks with friends after the seafood festival in Belmar. I didnt know I was making a mistake by coming in here. The bartender was so oblivious to the customers sitting at the bar. Mind you it was a Sunday at 7pm. Theres like 9 people sitting at the bar with 3 servers. She was so unfriendly, we asked her for a drink and waited 10 minutes while she was talking to the other server. Had to then ask her again after she charged our cards and walked away. Another 10 minutes Goes by with her talking with her go worker before we got our drink. It was sangria I dont think thats too hard to do. I wont be coming back here which is a shame because it looks like a great environment.

Beautiful view of the Ocean. Sensible portions of fresh Italian food. A return visit yesterday was a disaster. What happened? My husbands meal arrived promptly and was as good as always. My meal came to the table after my husband had finished his. My flatbread was cold and hard like a rock. The waitress had disappeared for at least 40 minutes. She reappeared just in time to present us with the check. She had now idea why we were very disappointed. She blamed the mess on the kitchen not on her inattention. Will we come back, I am not sure. This restaurant needs to train its staff and rely less on seasonal staffing.

I usually give good reviews to restaurants but geeze, maybe it was just a bad day for me or i got a server who is not good towards certain types of people. From start to finish, i was rushed, server was not pleasant, etc.. As i said, maybe server was having a bad day and took it out on me. Secondly, food taste was not worth the cost. I order the veal marsala with mashed tats and veggies. Marsala Sauce tasted watered down. Since this was my first and probably my last visit there, thats that. Others seemed to be enjoying the food/ service, so you might too. Your experience might be better than mine.

You may be able to fool the young crowd with this so called "Italian" cuisine but not me or the people I mistakenly took there. "Meatballs & Spaghetti" PLEASE! That should be a staple dinner and it was disgusting. 95% Bread crumbs. The Sauce was embarrassing. A bunch of young kids dressed like slobs and aweful good is the perfect recipe for bankruptcy. Smarten up! Get involved and listen to your customers. Great location wasted on really bad food. I hope you read this and fix the problem. Im never coming back but it would be a shame if you dont address this. Sad.

We arrived got seated immediately. Got water and bread then sat there for 20 minutes without anyone coming by so we could place our order. Another group got placed at the table next to us a few minutes after us and was greeted by a waiter within a minute after being sat. Wasnt until I called for a manager did someone finally come by our table

Waiter inattentive. Food took forever. Table next to us came in later, ordered later, and got their food way before us. One of them had the same thing I ordered, so it was not a backup in the kitchen. We finally just told them dont bother, paid for our drinks and left.
