If I could give 0 stars, I would. The hostess (owner) was incredibly rude to my entire party when it was found that a hair was in one of our pasta dishes. While 99.9% of professionally run restaurants would apologize, we found the .01% that doesnt. After 4/5 people were done eating, the waitress finally (~15 minutes) brought out the last dish, which had had previosly contained the hair in it. No apologies were given, but we were told that a "manager" would be sent over. After about another 20 minutes of sitting and waiting aimlessly, the hostess came out, bringing along a *not bald* (important later on) pizza chef for some unforeseen reason. After the person in my party stated that she would only be paying for the appetizer and drinks she bought (due to horrific service), the hostess took it upon herself to loudly proclaim that "My chef does not have any hair! Maybe it was one of yours!". After a variety of more accusations and EXTREMELY rude comments, the hostess (OWNER) decided that she was done with us and ran back into the restaurant, proclaiming "this is all being recorded!!!" We were very glad to hear this as the video would make a great example for future restaurants as to what horrific customer service looks like. In the end, the chef just wanted to alleviate things and finally decided to take off the pasta dish. We shook hands with him (being the only semi-professional person in the restaurant), payed our checks and left. The live music was nice.

I cant write a review about the food because the hostess was so extremely rude and dismissive to my party..we never made it to the table. We didnt have a reservation and there was clearly only about 3 tables occupied in the restaurant and 1 table occupied outside. We asked for a table and the hostess seemed quite annoyed that we didnt have a reservation...she stated there was a "25 minute wait"...when i looked around confused ...she quickly spun around and walked off. We didnt have a chance to even make a reservation. Ive lived in NYC for 15 years and westchester county for many years and have dined at tons of restaurants and have never experienced such rude behaivor in my life. It was very clear that she was so appalled that we didnt have a reservation and she did not want us in her restaurant. Its really sad to see this type of person (hard to even call her a human being) in such a bucolic lovely town. We have been to all the other restaurants in millbrook and we have experienced lovely service and have enjoyed all of them. This hostess needs a reality check...I would not step foot in that restaurant if it was the last place on earth.

This is not a review of the food as we never made it to our table after encountering an extraordinarily rude hostess. We had made a reservation for six persons and one couple canceled at the last minute leaving us as a party of four. We apologized and presumed that wed be seated at a decent table but instead the hostess offered us a table for four directly adjacent to the musician who was relatively loud. The hostess admonished us (as if we were recalcitrant children) that "you should have phoned" but again, this was a last minute cancellation by the other couple. There were several empty tables a bit of a distance from the musician, however the hostess claimed that one was reserved and she had to hold the other table in case a party of six showed up. We made the decision to go elsewhere and were very pleased with our decision to try the Millbrook Cafe where the food is great and the staff amiable. Why anyone would support Trattoria is beyond me. We four will NEVER return and will pass along our negative experience to anyone who asks about dining in Millbrook.

I am not sure what is going on with this restaurant right now. In the past, we have been there many times and had enjoyable meals. The last two times have been different, however. About four months ago, we came for dinner with friends to encounter a band in the dining room playing loud music that left no possibility of dinner conversation with our friends. After taking a hiatus after that unpleasant experience, we decided to give the place another try a few nights ago. There mustve been some problem in the kitchen, since we arrived at 7:45 PM and by 9 PM we still had not received our entrées. The lady who runs the front of the house came by to ask how we were doing, and we proceeded to explain our problem to her. But instead of understanding, she got very defensive and rude. The funny thing is I dont think she is a rude person but she obviously couldnt deal with a criticism. Anyways, there was an abrupt and unprofessional end to our dining experience. I am not sure these people should be in the hospitality business.

We had 2 delicious meals and excellent service this past weekend on 2 separate nights. For restaurant week they had an entree so flavorful and delicious that we went back for it two nights later. The entree was Blueberry and porcini lasagna which consisted of house-made pasta sheets, porcini mushrooms, creamy béchamel, truffle fondue, parmesan and blueberries with a blueberry sauce drizzled over top. Very creative and a 5 star taste! We often order their orecchiette puttanesca and the butternut agnolotti on the regular menu. They are just two of the many flavorful dishes at this restaurant. Enjoy!

My family and I live in Millbrook and San Giorgio has been our local go to restaurant for years. My daughter requested to go there for her 10th birthday dinner for a special dinner. We got really bad service. The matred was no where to be found, didnt ask how we were, or offer any kind of compensation for the treatment. Really disappointing especially considering we are locals. Made no effort to make my 10 year old daughter feel special. Seems like the place has gone downhill.

This is my go to restaurant in town. Joe and Gordona are great, and the food even greater. My sons favorite is the margherita pizza and childrens pasta. Mine is the calamari, chicken ceasar salad and affogato dessert. They always have specials too and a soup of the day...I almost forgot, the stracciatella is amazing. They usually have a homemade flavored ice tea of the day that is always refreshing. Live music is also great, often on the weekend nights.

Excellent neopolitan style pizza with crispy and tender crust. Pizzas are personal size. We got the neopolo tan style with capers a day anchovies. It was good but a bit salty. We also got a white pizza with mushroom. This was excellent. It had buffalo mozzarella and ricotta with garlic and olive oil with mushroom. It would definitely recommend getting this.

This is the second time in two years that weve gone to this place. Both times there was a band playing that was too loud to sit inside, so we asked to sit on the patio. On both occasions we sat outside for a long time without anyone coming over to our table to serve us. After about a half hour of being completely ignored we walked out. Such a rude staff!
