It was okay. They were more concerned where I was from. When they found out that I was not a local... it was take my money and bye bye fella! I made sure to ask each server their name, the bartender her name... and not one had the basic good manners to ask me my name (and I even took a shower that day... used soap and everything! lol). The food was very good; however, I can literally walk down my block and get great American, Asian, Mid-Eastern, Vietnamese, Greek, and especially Italian foods... and each of them have the good manners to ask me my name. I guess for that area The Fireside BBQ represents the big night out. I maybe will go there again if I stumble upon it.

I love BBQ, prefer southern, but like to sample whats available outside the south. I was actually surprised to find this little gem. FYI, parking is a premium, lot is small, but lots of parking around it. I ordered my meal to go, I got the 3-meat combo: pulled pork, tri tip and brisket. The pork and the brisket were very good, nicely cooked and good sauce. The tri tip I have never had, so not sure how it is supposed to be cooked, but it was tender, though VERY under-seasoned. The sides bbq beans, very good well seasoned and cooked. The onion rings (suggested by the hostess as her favorite) were NOT crunchy, but were flavorful.

Continental menu. Casual dining. Wife had hot mac and cheese and said it couldve been hotter (in a former life she was a fire eater). Told the waitress and she said that the next time to request it hotter and they would accommodate. That the "base" recipe was geared more toward kids ... so if you want it hotter just ask. I had a burger (medium), mesquite grilled very good. We will return.

These guys are real troopers for getting back up on their feet after their basement was flooded. The food is excellent (especially the ribs) and the atmosphere is just great.

Extremely inconsistent food. When its good, its very good. When its bad, you wont want to come back. I wish they were consistent, as there arent many other good local options.

fabulous tri-tip, great peanut slaw, hugh portions of delicious, well prepared food at very reasonable prices. well worth the trip. oh, and very attentive and pleasant staff.

OMG the food is great and the service is always outstanding. But please don’t all go to my little secret spot to eat because sitting is limited and I real like the food !!!

The food is absolutely amazing! Ribs are in the smoker over night and are put on the grill when you order! Fall-of-the-bone ribs! AMAZING!
