Disgusting service. I called to inquire about the ingredients in the canoli cake because it tasted like it contained rum. I explained that the cake was given to children and parents were concerned. The man who called me back told me that it contained "no alcahol only simple syrup." A moment later the man said it did in fact contain a "small amount of rum, however it was not worth mentioning." When I asked him why It is not disclosed to customers that the cake contains alcahol he became verbally aggresive and defensive. He proceded to accuse me of making a moutain out of a molehill and then refused to give me his name because "it wasnt any of my concern." If there is a sufficient amount of liqour in a product that can clearly be tasted, that product should not be sold to or for children. I am not certain which pastries/cakes contain alcohol but I assure you, this is no place to buy a cake for a child.

I ordered my husbands birthday cake for the first time after reading all the good reviews. I didnt know what cake to order so I asked them for recommendation. The day when I picked up the cake, I was so so disappointed at the look of the cake and hoped it might taste good. The cake was all white with 3 roses on top, and it looked like an old styled cake from a Chinese bakery. Finally when we tasted the cake, the cake was so dry and my dad was choked by it. Terrible and I was tricked to buy some meat bread...salty and unhealthy. I asked if I could try before buying it, they said no and I thought I would give it try based on other reviews, I ended up trash it after tasting with small bites. Just awful experience.

Cardinalis is the best of the best! If you want to brush elbows with the millionaires of L.I. and eat as they do it is worth the stop no matter how out of the way you may be. Growing up all of our catored events had to include the pasteries and ofcourse, their meat bread. Later in life I moved out to Howard Beach Qeens and still traveled to LI to get the pasteries and meat bread. Now Im in Florida and am awaiting online service. I cant wait!!!! I am dying for the meat bread!!! No one ealse in the world makes it like they do! 31 years as a customer and have never found anything that compares.
