I am so sorry that I went to Buono Bakery for my wedding cake!! I met with Frankie to discuss my cake design and filling 3 weeks before my wedding. I brought a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. It was supposed to have 4 layers stacked directly on top of one another, have creamy white colored icing, and be wrapped in dark purple ribbon on each layer. Frankie said it would be "No problem". A week before I went by there again to supply the ribbon and decorations for the cake as he had requested I do. At that time we went over again what the cake would look like and how it would be filled. My jaw dropped when I walked into the reception and saw the cake that was sent! The teirs were stacked on collums (like a cake from 1985) and it was stark white with bright pink icing rosettes on every layer. Absolutely HIDEOUS!! I was embarrassed to cut my own wedding cake. Also, the cake was filled with chocolate mouse when it was supposed to be canoli cream and the cake itself was very stale. When I called Frankie the next day first he said that my cake was still in their walk in refrigerator and then he said it had went to another bride by mistake. Do not use Buono for your wedding cake.... You will be disappointed!

My daughter went to Buono Bakery for her wedding cake a week before the wedding to pick out her cake, flavors and design. When we showed up at the reception hall, the cake was not at all what she had ordered. The cake was supposed to be 4 tiers, each decorated with white icing and black dots. The filling was supposed to be chocolate mousse and napoleon creme. Instead, each tier was completely white and covered in rosettes. The filling was canoli. The baker was called, and he claimed to have no memory of every meeting her and had lost the paper work and picture of the way the cake was supposed to look like. I would not recommend this baker for any important events, such as your wedding. If you do use Buono Bakery, make sure you call Franky every day to make sure he remembers you and your order!

I used them for my wedding cake. Worst mistake ever. I didnt listen to the past reviews. The photographer asks me to stand by the cake for pictures. I told him it wasnt the cake i ordered. He didnt know what to say. I guess he was just surprised i wasnt having a bride attack. I had to apologize to my guests for how bad the cake tasted too. If you want good cheesecake then this is the place to go. DO NOT GET YOUR WEDDING CAKE FROM BUONOS!!

I have been going to Buono Bakery since Im a child (which is a long while ago). I love their butter cookies and danishes. That is why I tried their sheet cake. It was attrocious. The worst cake I have ever had. There was hardly any custard in the cake. It was dry. At the price I paid for it, I should of wanted seconds.. Buone stick to your cookies and danishes because you cannot make sheet cakes. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This is my GO TO Bakery. Frank has been making my cakes for 20 years! When my Daughter was Born and now my Grandson! Thank You for the Great Cakes, Pastries Cookies Bread and Service all these years. Cant pass by with picking up my Eclair with Whipped Cream on Top minus the box. My desert version of a hot dog!
