I remember why I stopped ordering from South Setauket Deli after placing an order today. Theyre very rude when they answer the phone and told me "well get there when we can" then immediately hung up on me. The office where I work is right across the street (and I would pick it up on my own if I had someone to cover me). A coworker of mine was also rudely told once that we need to coordinate our orders so they dont have to come so many times to the same office ("too many times"=twice). Stone Soupe delivers to our office a bunch of times in a day and are all very nice (their food is 100% better as well). As far as the deli goes, their food is just OK and the inside of the deli doesnt seem very clean. Overall, Im not happy.

One of my 2 favorite delis! Food is always fresh. Egg sandwiches are always delicious and I was recently turned on to their German Crumb cake which is awesome! Price is similar to other delis and they have a great variety of "Sandwiches I never would have thought those ingredients worked together" type of sandwiches

Im not sure if I like this deli the person who is making the sandwich uses his gloves to take money from people and moves on to the next customer without changing his gloves.. not clean at all. Its the only deli in the area but ever since I saw that I never came back,

Too expensive. Turkey on a roll (no mayo, no tomato, no lettuce, no side salad, no pickle) with a bottle of soda... almost $10. Im not paying for these guys to all drive new trucks.
