Went there today to order lunch for my staff and to inquire about catering. When we walked in there was only one person at the counter everyone else was busy talking. One gentleman asked if the two guys at the counter ( my partner and i ) were being helped. They looked at us standing there and went back to their conversation as if we werent even there. After waiting for 7 minutes we decided to leave and go to another deli. They lost what would have been great business for them. When i called a few minutes later to talk to a manager the girl who answered the phone couldnt have cared less about our experience and told me their was no manager available. Heres a tip to the staff here at Miller Place Deli. When a customer comes into your establishment you should 1. greet them and let them know they are acknowledged and not ignore them. 2, when someone calls with a complaint you should be sympathetic and try to get the customer back. I would never do business here and will let people know about my experience!

I just ordered two bagels there with lox and cream cheese...the girl was rude and argued with my dad (he wanted 1/2 nova and 1/2 belly lox) this was obviously too confusing for her and after she finally understood what he wanted they didnt even have belly lox. So we got two bagels with just nova and there were 2 slices on each bagel (almost nothing..it would have been 2.50 per slice of salmon) its amazing they can do anything with their heads up their asses we wont be back

The bagels are ok. But theyd have to be amazing to justify the level of cluelessness in just how rudely their staff(not all but most)conduct themselves. I have been a customer for many years and have put up with it because I consider myself to have a pretty thick skin. But today was the last day....they screwed up my order, sent me home missing a sandwich, I get home, everyone sits down,,..my Wifes is missing.

good food, agreed on the bad service. I questioned how 2 sandwiches could be so much and was rudely given an answer on extra charges for lettuce, cheese and tomato. the guy behind the counter actually argued with me about it. will never go back, just as good food can be found within a 2 minute drive without the rude service

Very rude young girl who made the bagels, burnt the bagel threw it in the bag at the end and walked away I was left thinking did I initiate her behavior. The lady ringing me up was about the same so I realized they have a chip on there shoulder, I can take my business to the other dozen bagel places around there

Best bagels in town by far, not mushy and under cooked. Egg sandwiches cant be beat and they keep thing moving along. This is by far the best bagel place around and I enjoy a bagel from them every morning and Im never disappointed.

Mediocre food and way overpriced!! Also rude staff, they allow people to cut their line. Apparently they only care about some peoples money, therefore they wont be getting any more of mine.

If you want eggs dont come here, they look at the clock to try and make an excuse not to make it, then they burn your eggs and still sell you it.... Ps there bagles are every small

Awesome bagels! I eat here every time I am back east on Long Island. This place is the real deal bagels, boiled, NY style. Its the best stop on the way to Cedar Beach.

Best bagels and deli around! Food is always fresh and delicious. I recommend you try the sunflower seed flagel. Great soups, chopped salad and sandwiches.

I purchased 4 bagels and a Snapple, two of the bagels with butter and two with cream cheese. Simple right? Nope 2 bagels were burnt and not even edible.
