Just went to the Bone Fish Grill in Poughkeepsie, NY for their Soft Shell Crab special. They were charging $20 for one small soft shell crab, when I asked our waitress what they charge for two, she said that will be and additional $17.00! Most restaurants serve two decent size soft shell crabs. So we didnt order them, not good value for the price they are charging. I also spoke with the Manager about this, and he agreed that for the portion and size of their soft shell crab, he felt the price was not worth it, which we found to be an interesting comment coming fro the Manager. We had their crusted cod which was a much better value for what you get. The last several times that we have gone to this restaurant we have been disappointed with the portions that you get for the price that you are paying. Probably will not be going back anytime soon.

BoneFish Grill doesnt honor reservations. Dont bother, you will still be given a buzzer regardless. Walk-in after walk-in that didnt have an reservation was seated before us that arrived before we did. Even though it was our scheduled time to be seated. You will have to wait even with a reservation. Im not talking about a 5-10 minute wait to get the table ready. Im talking about 30min plus after your reservation you will be seated. Food was just O.k. Luckily our server was very nice. Wont be back. And I almost forgot. this guy came in with his girl and was seated right away. Skipped the whole line. The manager came over like a groupie and gave this guy and his girl a both table that sits like 6, when the place was packed. All the other couples got tables. This is a prime example how this pace is ran.

We are frequent customers at Bonefish Grill and Saturday Aug. 6th we were there with another couple for lunch. My Husband and I were terribly disappointed in my Husbands Salmon dish for Lunch. The portion of everything on his plate was extremely small for the price. We were too embarrassed to mention it to our waitress being we were with another couple. We have never had that experience at Bonefish Grill. I felt you needed to know.

First time at any Bonefish Grill although friends and family have always raved about this chain. Poughkeepsie experience was great. Delicious, generous portions and truly excellent and caring service by Bryn B. Her attentiveness, cordiality and professionalism enhanced the visit. Looking forward to returning soon. P.S. Bang-Bang Shrimp!!!!! Porkchop if youre not in the seafood mood!!! Cobb Salad on point!!

Good food and service. You can never go wrong with Bang Bang Shrimp! The kitchen became backed up when we were there, causing everyone to wait exceptionally long for meals. The server was apologetic and continued to do her best. Although the stuffed shrimp on my plate were a bit cold, the rest of my meal was delicious. We will be back again! FYI happy hour ends at 6:30 nightly (not 7 as in other posts)

My wife and son took me for my birthday and couldnt be happier. Food was delicious and Courtney our server was truly a pleasure. Had the steak and stuffed shrimp which was perfect. Shared the bang bang shrimp which we loved. They brought out a complimentary piece of cake which was excellent and a birthday card and gift for bang bang shrimp when we go again. Great place in every sense!

Our (me and two friends) first time at Bonefish Grill and it wont be the last. From the moment you walk through the door the service is fantastic. Our waitress, Rachel was so attentive and informative. The food was delicious and great for any special event.

Delicious food, great happy hour, and weekly specials. The best weekly special is "Hooked on Tuesday"! They also are very accommodating for guests who have shellfish allergies. Dont forget to try the bang bang chicken (instead of the shrimp)!

Food is good. Tuna especially Lately seems like the food is becoming mediocre as well as the service. Rush in and rush out seems to be the norm. Time to move on and find better. Great espresso Martinis will ease the pain of the latter.

Nice selection of fish items. Good service and food is freshly prepared. Its best to make reservations on Friday and Saturday for dinner. Its usually very crowded at those times. Favorite is the grilled rainbow trout.

Mediocre over priced food. My mixed drink was all sour mix, and when I requested another, they said it would be the same unless I paid extra. Slow service despite it not being busy. Do. Not. Want.
