North Country Store is a neat little bulk food store that sells everything from baking supplies, to nuts and dried fruit, canned goods, a wide variety of candy, Pennsylvania Dutch products, jams and jellies, and even has a whole selection of snacks and beverages. There is even a little gift section that also has handmade crafts and cards, and a kitchen utility section which includes Rada knives and canning supplies. It provides fresh sliced meat from its deli, and even serves subs, sandwiches, wraps, hot subs, breakfast sandwiches, and has a lovely selection of fresh baked goods, including homemade bread, baked almost daily. There are tables inside, provided if you want your meal to stay, and picnic tables outside as well. Located close to Fort Drum and the Indian River Schools, If you would like to avoid the lunch rush, you should come in before 12:00 pm. or after 2:00 pm. Its hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am. to 5:00 pm. Wednesdays and Saturdays. The sub counter closes a half hour before the rest of the store. It is closed on Sundays.

Ahhh. We reminisce our days in Maryland frequenting Amish markets. Well, this is fairly close. Good selection of bulk goods. Deli is rockstar. We go every chance we get. Try all the cheese and meat selections. Fresh and flavorful.
