This is one of my favorite places to eat. Their ham sandwiches are renowned, but I love their Chicken Pot Pie (think chicken and dumplings with slippery dumplings) and the broccoli salad. I highly recommend these. If youve been to the Lancaster, Pa. area, this market has many of the candies, nuts, munchies and spices in the clear containers. I am also a big fan of their McClures bakery products. DCM is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. All of their cooked rotisserie items are delicious. A friend of mine buys her bacon and raw meats here whenever she can. Ive not done that, but she swears by them. Country art and gifts are also available. A great place to put together a gift basket for anyone! There is a small dine-in cafe.

Stopped by the Dutch Market a couple of weeks ago and was still thrilled by the food, service and workers. It was late and they made sure we got every thing we wanted. In fact they were really busy cooking carry out dinners for people who were going home to eat their dinners. The food was excellent and cooked as well as it use to be. As usual we went back on a closed day and were disappointed but we remembered then they were not opened every day. But thats ok the drive was good and we had a good day anyway. We should have checked here first. Maybe they will post the time and days they are opened. Thank you for just being there and good luck DCM !

The Dutch market isnt as good as it used to be. Ive just about give up on stopping in there. Stopped there today and got green beans, ham, and potatoes and there are no potatoes nor is there any ham in it. The string beans werent cut and they taste horrible, like over steamed, or something. I live in Laurel, right down the road from the place, and have been eating there for years. Money doesnt fall from trees and with the inconsistency of the products, I just cant afford to take a shot in the dark by stopping there anymore.

Words cannot describe how good this food is! The food, the atmosphere, the service - if you havent been here, make sure to plan on coming. Sam and Glenda are the nicest people youll ever meet. While youre at the market/restaurant, dont forget the furniture store. Their furniture has the quality that lasts generations, not months. Overall fantastic experience!

Good variety but a bit pricey. Some foods are homemade while others are not. Good selection of fresh meats - steaks, pork, ham, chicken and burgers. Nice selection of fresh baked goods, bulk candy, jellies & preserves. Open Thursday thru Saturday. They close early - 6pm Thurs. & Fri. 5pm Saturdays.
