This is one of the few places I looked forward to eating at when Id go back to Newburgh during my visits. Everything that comes out of this cute place is absolutely delicious! I took my father here for a quick birthday brunch and he enjoyed it a lot. During the previous owners I loved the salads, crepes, my chai latte was yummy but the one thing I never forget was their spicy mexican eggs which was egg with marinara sauce, jalapeno slices and feta cooked in the oven within a ramekin. I look forward to checking it out now that there are new owners. From what I hear its just as great.

New owner and some changes on the menu. All great because CIA trained Jodi is doing a great job. She has even used our own sustainable ECO SHRIMP in her shrimp and cheese grits (wow!) and the curried chicken sandwich my friend had looked amazing (and was reported to be a great mix of sweet and savory). I will be eating my way through her menu over the next weeks and hope you join me in supporting this great local place that is heading into a thirtheenth year in Newburgh.

I used to love this cafe... For years Ive been coming here. This is the third owner and the food was always exceptional. Today we stopped for lunch and my friends fritata had a long blonde hair in it (both of us are brunettes). So my friend had to order a second meal... Second meal was a pita something meal... She gets the meal without the pita. We ate and asked for the check and the owner lacked the courtesy to comp my friends meal.

Caffe Machiatio offers a exceptional selection of traditional breakfast and lunch options cranked up a notch thanks to chef Jodi Cummings. We enjoyed the old ownership but I think now its better than ever. Dont forget to try the Morning Macchiato breakfast sandwich - its the best egg sandwich Ive ever had.

Caffe Macchiato has become the face of the City of Newburgh, for good reason. The food is fabulous. Weve been coming here since they opened in 2005, and have NEVER been disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the location is great. If youre in the area, its the first place Id recommend.

If youre tired of IHOP and diner breakfasts, this is the place to go to eat fresh and amazing tasting food. I had the huevos rancheros with shrimp chorizo and I wanted another plate cause it was so good. Also had their take on the mimosa which paired well with brunch.

Charming restaurant for lunch...right across the street from George Washingtons Headquarters. small town atmosphere and the best soup and sandwich around.. Get the Haitian Hot Chocolate when its available.. you have never had anything like it before!

Macchiato continues to turn out great food and a charming atmosphere. I always love seeing what decorative elements the owners have integrated into their ample street front windows. Dont arrive after 3:30 pm though, they close punctually at 4pm!

Excellent changing menu. Live thus spot for brunch. Its pricey for Newburgh but is especially lovely in food, ambiance and location. After you eat take a walk across the street to Washingtons longest stay/ HQ during the first American revolution.

I returned to the states after living in Italy for quite a long time, fortunately for me I found Caffe Macchiato. The French toast is the best (served only on weekends). I have made breakfast there part of my weekend ritual.

Avocado toast is amazing! French toast is amazing! Coffee, lattes, croissants, amazing!!! I cannot wait to go back and eat here again. Everything is so good and so fresh!
