Have you given up hope on the once proud City of Newburgh? Has your hope in humanity faded away like the crumbling brick and mortar of an abandoned building? Then I implore you to come spend an afternoon at 2 Alices in Newburgh, I promise you a brighter perspective. Immediately upon entering this small shop in lower Newburgh you will have to question whether or not youve entered through a portal to a reality where the citizens of Newburgh care for each other and the community as a whole. A reality where warm, smiling faces are there to deliver a delicious cup of coffee and show you a wonderful evening. And maybe, just maybe, while youre sipping your cup of coffee you look around. You begin to "people watch" and notice that the City of Newburgh is getting better. The abandoned buildings are being restored, the community is coming together against criminality and families are walking without fear. Thats what 2 Alices Coffee Lounge is; hope. Hope that this once great city of the Hudson will be great again. Hope that every business in this community can be so happy and wonderful. Five Stars and lots of love, keep up the great work!

Nice cozy environment, but hand made beverages are sub-par. The pre-made teas are fine, but the espresso beverages have always disappointed me. Staff is hit or miss- sometimes nice, sometimes they dont seem to care and are dismissive. Can also buy baked goods here, which are so-so. They post local events and interesting things on a cork board, which is always nice to see. Art on the walls is locally made, can be bought, and changed often. I love the local support here. Also serves as a venue for local events and meetings

This is one of my favorite places in Newburgh. I go almost all the time. Its a very nice environment. You get your drink and your food and you can stay as long as you like. I work on my laptop in the corner and no one bugs me. I dont know why, but I keep expecting a barista to come over and tell me I have to leave because Ive been there too long or something, but no. Theyre all really respectful and polite. Its not too loud. It makes me feel like Im in New York City when Im in there

A great local coffee shop that my husband and I drive 30 minutes to get to! Drinks taste wonderful, staff is always friendly, and theres a little basket of toys for kids which helps us enjoy our coffee a little more :) Or last visit we tried the Turmeric Chai Tea, it was exceptional!

Great fresh brewed coffee, lattes, espresso and delicious bakery, quiche and soup. Very fun vibe, no one rushes you; you can sit and drink coffee with your friends as long as you like. Its our go to coffee place and meet up place!
