Beyond rude doorman! We entered the store at around 10:15pm after we saw the "Were Open" sign in the window. There were about 6 people in front of us (us being 3 people in total) and the store was full. After standing in line for 5 minutes the doorman comes rushing in and says were closed you have to leave. I told him the sign in the windows says youre open he blurted out "it does not" he looked very stupid when on our way I pointed it out again and he proceeded to flip it over... Its one thing to not to let paying customers in if youre closed BUT its another thing to cause a scene and remove us from the establishment after we waited in line. Its unfortunates that I live close by and have to see a this doorman all the time. Its left such a bad taste in my mouth that I dont even buy Tipsy Scoop at Whole Foods.

This place has no idea what customer service is. First of all it was about 90 degrees outside when we went there and it felt even warmer inside the store. They should invest in a work ing a/c since the one running apparently was not. They were out of the 2 flavors when we arrived so you would think they would be a bit more accommodating but wouldnt allow us to substitute any flavors in their "featured" sundae which was odd since they offer flights of various flavors. Ive never been told no so many times to various questions while trying to give a business some sales. For the prices they charged you would tthink they could at least keep napkins stocked in the napkin holders but those were all empty too. Overall OVERRATED, OVERPRICED, and UNDERWHELMING!!!

Goot product. Nothing exceptional. HORRIBLE service. Recently moved from Queens to putnam. Dont get into the city much anymore. Have been dying to try this. Finally made my way over and wanted to grab some pints to take home. Initial plan was for 6 pints but after my experience I ended up just taking 3. Asked to sample a few flavors. I had to twist the sales persons arm after just 2 samples. Im sorry but if I am purchasing that amount of product shouldnt have to convince you to allow me to decide which one I like more. Then when I asked if it would travel about an hour she tried to sell me ice for $5. Product is good but I would not return on principle.

The ice cream is so good! I got the dark chocolate whiskey and caramel. The reason I am giving is three stars is because for the amount of time you wait in line and the cost, you should get what you order! The ice cream we wanted was sold out though this was not mentioned on the board. Also, they were out of flights, so instead of ordering four samplers we had to order one scoop of one kind each for the same price. Oh, and they were almost out of spoons. NOTE: the company closes on Monday to restock. So by Sunday, they are way more likely to be out of what you want. Try to go on a weeknight if possible to ensure you pay for what you actually want.

Delicious! My sister and I got four pints (Tequila Mexican Chocolate, Mango Margarita, Rose and raspberry lemoncello) or favorite was definitely the chocolate ice cream. We bought four pints, so got to skip the line and bring it home in a cooler bag (which you get if you buy four pints). Im god we took it home because the place is tiny! Theres barely standing room and they give you ice cream on shot glasses and use a paper plate as a tray. Definitely better to enjoy the experience from the comfort of some couches and/or chairs!

Husbands vanilla bean bourbon was OK; my spiked mint chip didnt have any alcohol taste/appearance. AC in store was not working; vanilla ice cream was super runny; they blamed it on the alcohol. Two flavors were already gone. Door person was aggressive about asking for ID (were over 50) and when we took ice cream outside and sat on a private residence steps two doors down to eat she told us to move. This store is TINY even by NY standards and it was packed with no seating which is why we went immediately back outside.

Come for happy hour from 4-6pm for 2 for 1 scoops or discount on flights. Tried the hazelnut coffee and strawberry white sangria sorbet. The coffee had a distinct alcohol taste that was a good pairing with coffee however I did not taste any of the sangria in the strawberry although it was still delicious. I sampled vanilla bean bourbon which paired well together. For the happy hour prices I would come again and try the other flavors. Make sure you bring an ID as they check when the place gets busy.

When I went, half the flavors were already sold out. Samples are limited to 2 per person. The vanilla bourbon was pretty good but we opted for the seasonal - citrus sorbet with wine hibiscus sorbet over a churro bowl. It didnt go well together and the churro was so stale. The sorbet flavor was good but there wasnt much liquor flavor. I was disappointed with the special. Will I be back? Probably not. Its a bit too east and theres limited seating.

I was up visiting from VA, and my nephew and I went to Tipsy Scoop on Wednesday June 14 after seeing a show on broadway, and all I have to say is the ice cream in unbelieveable. We each got a flight of four that way we can try 8 different flavors and I couldnt tell you which one was my favorite because they were all that good! All I know is this place has definitely been put on the must visit every time list!!!

I love Tipsy Scoop. However this map placement is very confusing and misleading! Note that the listed address is for the making of the product and not some walk in shop like some of the pictures that were posted. I spoke with the security guard who says people arrive almost every week looking for a place to just buy and bring home. No one answers the phone either.

I have never posted a negative review about anything in my life but I feel like I have to this time. I ordered 4 pints of ice cream for my anniversary. Tipsy Scoop sent me 3. Two of the 3 were the wrong flavors. Ive called and emailed them for the past two weeks to try and work this out. I have received 0 response. They suck. I would leave 0 stars if this would let me.

If youre looking for a place to get a fun treat that will have you a little buzzed, PLEASE go to Tipsy Scoop. Its usually packed, but the line moves quickly. Sampling is allowed and the customer service is BOSS! The music is too, by the way. The stools are usually occupied, but its way more fun to enjoy your alcohol infused ice cream walking through city anyway.

I got the seasonal Rose FROSE sundae! I would have been happier if they let me just have a scoop of it without the fake flowers and the bowl... but still good. They are closed on Mondays and they close fairly early for an alcoholic 21+ establishment (10pm). But yes 21 and over only!! I saw a few girls standing outside looking sad bc they were not of age...
