well i went in the other day to try the pizza for the first time. wasnt bad so i took a take out menu. today i thought of ordering to go. i called and asked what a stromboli is. Village pizza said they didnt know what a stromboli is. Basically offering something on the menu they have no clue what it is...how can they make food there fresh every day if they dont know what they are making? i said to the dude whats the diff. between the stromboli and the calzone...he said he looked up on google...and began to describe a physical diff. i said i would just order a pizza and not stromboli, and then jokingly said to the guy you shouldnt go in sales...its not your strong suit....he began to get loud and said how do you know, why are you putting me down...i said dude you didnt sell me on the stromboli when you had to look it up on the net...he said he didnt need my business i said i would speak to owner he said he was related and that he didnt care. so i guess village pizza doesnt need any new customers who ask questions about their food. Its a shame i was going to try to the stromboli and chicken soup and a pizza...prob. a thirty dollar sale and who knows how many future visits or people referred. GOURMET also delivers and they are much more grateful that i called.

My family and I have been coming to village pizza for the last 10 years. It is hard having four children and being able to take them out dinning, but when we do, Village Pizza is our #1 choice. Not only is the food here great, the prices are even better. Where else in town can you feed a family of 6 for under $20 that isnt from some fast food restaurant. Here you can enjoy fine italian cuisine from a place that is run by a great family. Not only is the food and prices good here, but the enviornment is even better. My children have so much fun coming here and playing the pin ball games as well as enjoying the hop scotch court outside. What other pizzeria has all of this to offer? It also helps coming into a restaurant and being greeted by all its staff. The people here are more than welcoming and make my children and I feel right at home. The summer time is even better when you have the option of getting ice cream right next door. They have such a variety of selections to choose from and the prices are even more greater. Even McDonalds cant beat them! Overall, if you are looking for a place to relax, and eat some really great food with your familly, Village Pizza would be my Choice!!!

Im a tow truck driver and after picking up a car my helper wanted a chocalate shake. We stopped in and I parked in one of the parking spots by the drive thru window. My helper went in and I stayed by the truck. Someone started yelling from the window telling to move my truck or he will call the police. He said I was blocking the drive thru and wanted me to leave his property immediatly. I tried to explain to him that my helper was inside and I couldnt just "get off his property" and besides I wasnt blocking anyones path. I was there for maybe half a minute and he was on the phone calling the police. I am a war veteran and in all my travels around the world, never have I encountered any kind of behavior from a place of business especially from an owner. He looked as though he had a problem with me far beyond thinking that I was blocking the drive thru. It must be the appearance of hard working men that appalled him. I would boycott his business because I strongly feel that he had a problem with our appearance and wanted to discriminate against us from returning.

I have been eating at Village Pizza for three years now, and I have never been dissatisfied with the service or the food. The pizza is fine, but the best kept secret is actually the menu of heros and salads. The salads are robust and even "pretty", and the heros are just awesome. Dont pass up the bread-sticks either, they are inexpensive and tasty. In the summer, theres even a built in ice cream window and outdoor seating. I see families there all the time and the kids love it. Its on the edge of town, so if you want to get away from the crowds of rowdy college students (like me ironically) this is your place. In the end though, the best judgment of a restaurants quality is its endurance, and Village has been there for decades. If people go there, they are going there for a reason. Did I mention the 1950s nostalgia?

A few of my friends and I ordered a cheese pizza, a buffalo pizza and a dozen wings to go. When we went in to pick it up we gave the guy a 50 dollar bill (because they dont except credit) and they gave us $4 back. Unfortunately we didnt realize how much the change was until we had left and realized it mustve been a mistake. When we called back the lady who picked up the phone gave us an attitude and told us it wasnt a mistake and that any gourmet pies are $20. I never leave reviews on things but I figured this seriously deserved a bad review. The pizza was horrible and the wings werent any better. Not to mention there was about 4 pieces of chicken on the Buffalo chicken pizza. I would never go back and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Went here to order a "Fat Village" sandwich. Should have consisted of chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, french fries, LTO, and sauces. The sandwich literally contained TWO mozz sticks and literally about 4 inches of chicken cut into small slices. This was topped with a maximum of 10 french fries and was on a big sub roll. It would have been good if it was more than just a piece of bread and an illusion of fillings. Each of these ingredients is pretty inexpensive on its own and theres no reason why they had to give me essentially an empty roll. I wasted $10.

The pizza here is well worth the price. You cant get cheaper then the food here and the quality is still great! The breadsticks, Philly, and sandwiches definitely blow other pizzerias out of the water. The staff is always upbeat and helpful, willing to acomidate to your needs. Just a very good atmosphere. The ice cream is great as well. They dont always have the flavors but the soft serve is creamy and great! Deffinetly a place to go if your looking for fast good food and service.

My husband picked up a pizza and a salad from this place tonight. We were appalled when we opened the salad to find that the edges of the iceberg lettuce were orange. A rabbit wouldnt eat this salad!!! The pizza dough was undercooked and the toppings were cold!!! My husband went to get a refund and the girl behind the counter would not validate our complaints nor give us a refund!!! This place was decent several years ago, but we will NEVER go back!!!!

the guy below was asked nicely to move twice until he called the owner a "gay man" (not the word he used) that is when he got on the phone and called the police if any one is a bigot and should be boycotted it should be a homophobic truck driver who had two chances to just move out of the drive way and leave or take the two seconds it would have just to back up into a space. let us know how the court case goes since you were charged with trespassing.
