I came here for the first time this past summer on a Thursday morning. I thought the service was pretty good. Friendly and fast and the food came out hot. Now I dont know what Louis D. is talking about, because I had pancakes, two eggs, bacon (four strips), an English muffin, OJ (large) and tea. My friend (who suggested the place) had eggs, toast and coffee. The bill was $13 and change. I would tell Louis that if you saw you that you would be paying $10 for 2 eggs and coffee...you should have walked out. And if you actually paid it...the problem isnt the diner. Its you. I will be a repeat customer. I live in Jamaica, but come out to Garden City often to shop at the Walmart on Old Country Road. Station Cafe is just ten minutes down the road heading east. Looking forward to my next visit. Not open on Sundays.

Above Average food at cheap prices. Carry out orders come out wicked fast and you should try finding a nicer group of people at 8am anywhere else in Nassau County. They do a knockout bacon egg and cheese and their wraps are pretty tasty if you have the time. Call ahead 10 minutes and you can get pretty much anything on the menu waiting for you when you roll into the train station. Sit down service can be a little hit or miss, depending on the day and when you go, but if the place isnt too busy it can be a pleasant experience. Best bet is any time that youre not competing with commuter traffic.

Everyone here is very nice and attentive, your order will be placed in a within the minute you enter. Service is fast and reasonably priced, they mostly serve breakfast type food in typical diner fashion. A great place to grab a quick bite before your train arrives, and I would give myself at the least 10 mins before your train comes to receive your order. One small note, this place only deals with cash, no debit/credit cards accepted, cash only.

Billy and his staff runs the shop like you are going to someones home for coffee or lunch . The staff is very friendly and they always remember your usual order even if you call it in; they know your voice. Thanks for a pleasant experience always guys...you rock!!!!

Had shied away from this place for a while and Im sorry that I dead. Old school sit down diner that still feels like its from back in the day in the best sense of the word. Great menu, fast, friendly service and they open at 5 a..m. for that early egg and cheese.

Definitely my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. The staff are really friendly and quick. The food is great and very inexpensive. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
