Came here for graduation celebration and had a rough experience. The waitress half heatedly handed us menus after another table was finished with them and didnt come back for 20 minutes. I called her over asking if we could get some drinks and she finally brought us water and quickly left before I could give her our order. It takes another 15 minutes for her to come back to get the order and she brought over three napkins and four plates for a party of eight with no utensils. We order the pizzas and wait another 30 minutes. All three were raw underneath and one pizza was not what we ordered, but since we had waited so long all ready I just accepted it. We were charged full price for the wrong pizza and they tried to justify the mistake by bringing us teramisu which was teeth cracking sweet and also had a piece of plastic left in it. I would give this place zero stars, buy the sad truth is that the owner and wait staff just have no idea what they are doing. I hope this place makes the necessary improvements to stay in buisness

What a disaster! I felt like I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares. We entered the restaurant to meet some friends for lunch and were immediately told to "wait right here." This should have been the first sign to turn around. The menu was extremely limited- as it turns out we were only given the seasonal lunch special menu. My lunch salad consisted of some cut up salami and provolone on top of arugula for $10. I wish the food had been the worst part of lunch, but the service compelled me to write a review. While attempting to pay the bill we realized that there is in fact an entire menu and even a to-go menu with many options. When I asked about the menus I was told that if I had asked for one I would have been given one and then asked what I would have ordered in a very rude tone. Needless to say, I will not be going back to sample the full menu! I agree with the other reviewer Colandreas or Joeys are way better.

Went to carbonella to get a slice of pizza and a drink, came out to $5 or $6. Owner told me there was a limit for the credit card machine of $15 and since he didnt have an ATM, I asked him if he wanted me to go get cash, which he replied with complaints about my generation and using cards. I then told him thats just the way it is nowadays, then he responded with "so youre telling me I can go to Home Depot right now to buy a chair and a rope with my debit card?" I said "yeah I guess so" he then said..."well you should go do that then" Yes, I was told to go kill myself.....by the owner, for simply trying to pay with a debit card. Could never recommend going here. Food is awful, owner changes prices and credit card limit on the spot, is verbally abusive to employees. Beware.

I have never left a bad review before. My mother and I brought my 2 yr old here for lunch. She ordered 2 slices of pizza to share with my son. One slice was good but the second slice tasted strongly of chemicals or cleaning products. We werent too upset and she kindly let the owner know that the pizza had a funny taste. She said she didnt want it comped from the check, that she just wanted to make him aware for sake of other customers. He went NUTS. he was screaming in her face about how he had never had a complaint in 40 years or business and she was crazy and told us to leave and never come back. He scared my son. His behavior was unacceptable. Its been an hour and I still cant get the taste out of my mouth. Youd better believe that we wont be returning.

I have been here on a few occasions, most of them good. The pizza, appetizers , and food are very good; and this was our experience every time. The reason for the three stars is the service. Each time weve eaten here the staff seems lost, the host often isnt at the front even when its slow. There are a few good waitresses but most do not write your order down, which would be fine if they remembered what your order was. On more than one occasion weve received food we didnt order and vise versa, neither time did they offer to correct the problem or adjust the bill. All in all the food is good, the service can be spotty but thats everwhere. I would go back.

The personal pizza I got was delicious and the chicken soup was pretty good. Unfortunately, the house salad my mom got tasted like the lettuce was dirty and the honey mustard dressing tasted almost like cleaning supplies. The waitress was very sweet. The owner seemed harsh and yelled at our waitress right in front of us and it was extremely awkward. Also, the owner and friends were smoking in the outside eating area as we walked in which almost turned us away since we had wanted to eat outside. Im glad we went in though because the pizza was great. Will be back.

The atmosphere was nice I was there on 12/02/11 for a quick lunch or so I thought. The place was not busy at all. But it took the waitress name Rose 10 minutes to ask me if I wanted something to drink, I should of told her what I wanted to eat too. Another 15 minutes go by and she finally brings my wine at this point I just wanted to leave. I think the Pizza chef was noticing that I had been waiting a long time and push for another waitress to tend me. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice. But the service compelled me to write this.

The worst experience ever! My two sons 2 granddaughters my husband and myself stopped in for pizza before going christmas shopping .We ordered pizzas and sodas.one pizza came (raw) .The second didnt come ever and so only half of us got to eat. Not a good family meal and than the women who cashed us out was very rude and said sarcastically to have a good day. Because I didnt respond to her she shouted as I was going out the do have a happy holiday. Never going to put my family through that again. Used to be a good place .

Have had many many good meals here, Used them twice as a caterer. This last time we used their food to cater our New Years Eve party for 50 people. Their Calamari was uncharacteristically was very poor quality. Called the manager to give feedback and he has not returned messages. My wife and I called a total of 4 times. The last time the woman who answered the phone hung up on me! Not a way to build business. We will never eat there again.

Tried this place for the 1st time looked Italian as far as decor but not the case, waitress walked away in the middle of ordering. I didnt get Sicilian because it was burnt black all over. Margarita and pepperoni slices Had black burnt on crust and raw and soggy floppy dough cheese sliding off no taste . 4 Garlic knots cost $2.75 they were burnt. And to top in off my fiancée and I are sick as a dogs today with stomach pains
