Went for Date Night dinner, restaurant was moderately crowded, not packed when we arrived. We ordered our food almost immediately as we knew what we wanted. We got our salad and soup, then sat and waited 49 minutes for our dinner, until the table behind us, that came in 20 minutes after us, received their dinner plates. At that point we had to just walk out, but the waitress had to be a drama queen and roll her eyes at us, prompting me to tell her why we were leaving. The best part was the 2 women that had just come in to dine there, left with us when they found out how long it takes to get served. Lesson learned to NOT go there for Date Night unless thats the only thing you have planned for the evening. Maybe they should think of hiring more kitchen help for that nite and waitress (other than their relatives) that can handle more than one table at a time.

Sorry to burst everyones 5 star rating bubble, but DO NOT EAT HERE! Unless you like being sick, stay far away. If i could give 0 stars I would. We order from this place at least once a week. Weve had everything from raw chicken on our salads to MOLD on our pizza! Today was the straw that broke the camels back. After ordering a few slices and bringing them back to the office we noticed fuzzy hairy MOLD on each slice. One of our co-workers had already eaten 75% of the slice before noticing it. DISGUSTING. We are so appalled that they would even serve something like that! How could you not notice large patches of fuzzy mold?!?!? My only guess is this pizza was left out for DAYS accumulating bacteria and mold then being served. So done with this place.

Since my daughter moved out a few years ago I find myself ordering out more often. Ive probly ordered delivery from here close to 100 times. I would say 98 of them I was very happy. In my opinion all the hoagies, pizza, appetizers, salads are very good to excellent. Will admit I havent ordered classic Italian meals but their hoagies are stuffed and on excellent bread. Spaghetti and meatballs is excellent. My granddaughter loves the chicken fingers and fries. Delivery is fast and always accurate. When I see people giving nasty reviews they must not be happy anywhere. I consider myself pretty picky and I just cant find a problem with the food or the service. Ive ordered from all of the places in town, as far as take out goes, its the best Italian.

The hoagies are great. But I ordered mussels one time and they were frozen and reheated and I think old or leftover. You could tell because they were still icy in the center and they tasted gross and I usually love mussels. The staff was nice and good atmosphere. The dining area is actually large in the back. When you first walk in you would never know there is this dining area but its pretty big! And the pasta dishes are great and Ive heard the pizza is great although I never had it there.

Vesuvios is a place that I rely on when I dont feel like looking for a place to eat. The employees are extremely friendly and the food is made fresh. Their pizza is the best Ive ever had. They have crispy chicken fingers and their fries are nice as well. My family and I have ordered around 10 times at Vesuvios and not once have we been disappointed. I am grateful to have such a splendid place to eat right near my house. Hopefully you will think the same way. Give Vesuvios a try!

There food is great, the owner is actually from Italy. If you order delivery its fast prompt and accurate. I have had good pizza and the hoagies are great with very good bread. I personally am not a fan of their magherita pizza but to each their own. I prefer sitting down there b/c you receive more food then you could possibly consume. I have eaten there multiple times and always have need a doggie bag.

Ordered chicken piccata and it was either boiled or steamed,completely white and unappetizing. Classic chicken piccata is sauteed (as described in the menu ). This is the second time we have ordered from Vesuvios, the other time was pizza, and it sucked. We will NEVER order from them again . Disgusting!!!!

Great crust..friendly service. .no problem to get a pizza no cheese. .n waitress checked on her own to see if egg plant was dipped in egg :) we missed out on egg plant but not yummy food...forget negative reviews of moldy pizza it was made as we sat there :)

White onions on my salad...should be red. My friends salad had no dressing. No utensils. Apples in salad were brown. Will skip this place next time.
