El que se queja de la comida aquí obviamente nunca ha comido verdadera comida venezolana. Bella Caracas makes authentic food that tastes like it came straight from Caracas. We ordered a variety of foods from the menu. All of the empanadas were amazing, especially the empanada de cazon, which we had not had since the last time we were visiting home in Caracas. The cachapa con queso was also delicious and the people sitting at the table next to us were raving about the amazing pabellon. Some reviewers have said that the wait is long and have credited this to "poor service" - they are absolutely wrong! Every single dish made at this restaurant was made fresh, as good Venezuelan food should be! The wait is exactly what you would expect for food that is made on the spot - nothing was reheated or frozen! Additionally, we ordered frozen hallacas and pan de jamon to take home with us. The hallacas simply needed to be boiled for 30 mins and the pan de jamon was ready to eat. We were THRILLED when we tasted both - they are exactly what we had expected, fresh, delicious and tasting exactly like home. We were so thrilled that we placed a large order so that we could spend New Years Eve eating the food we grew up eating with our families. The atmosphere at the restaurant is wonderful, my family visited Bella Caracas Cafe right before the holidays and found that they were playing traditional gaitas, typical holiday music in Venezuela. While there we were able to meet the owners, in addition to being lovely people they are more than willing to discuss their restaurant and their story with you and will remember you when you return. Anyone who has any complaints about the food here must not be Venezuelan. My family cannot believe how lucky we are to have discovered this amazing little restaurant - and we will definitely be coming back!

Este lugar deja mucho que desear, bien sea por que no hay muchas cosas ofrecidas en el menú y cuando preguntas se excusan con que estan colocando otro restaurante, tambien la carne mechada deben esmecharla mas, ya que dejan unos pedazos nada facil de comer y por ultimo el precio muy alto, el ejemplo es un jugo de papelon en $4, por cierto se me olvidaba lo sumamente lentos que son.

It took 30 minutes to get just one app. And 1 hour and a half to get 4 arepas, while there were only two tables with clients including us. When we got the arepas the cheese in them was cold, its supposed to be melted and the arepas were cold as well. The waitress was friendly but forgot my drink even though it showed up on the bill, she was socializing with co-workers instead (including the cook, explains why the food took so long, there was also drinking involved.) We spent 2 hours to get one app. and four arepas. I am actually shocked this place has so many good reviews.

Excelente comida, no sólo venezolana, también internacional. Buenos precios. Es el mejor lugar donde he comido arroz a la marinera y las mejores empanadas. Las caraotas son el mejor recuerdo de mi tierra y familia.

Beware of this place. They scam people. The prices they charge are not whats on the menu. If you let them know why the prices are different in the menu, they would tell you that the prices have change. However base on the day you go and who is there, they will go by the menu. The ambiance of the place looks nice, and the food is OK, (nothing to brag about) but the service sucks. P.S. Dont eat the empanadas, they are soaked in grease.

I have to say I am Puerto Rican never thought that they food was going to be that gooooood love it been going there now every week and to say the least I been taken my coworkers and they also love the food no one have said that the food is great and the taste my god have to try it great work and great good food

The food us good, it disappointed my wife and me, we went to have some cachapas and arepa reinas and they had both of us waiting with a drink for more than 45 minutes, i just paid for the drinks and cancelled the order because they screw up my day.

The food is delicious, the service they make you feel like family and the place is super clean I always go at night and get the cachapas my son love the patacon but yesterday I got the Caracas mix during day time and it was super good

Perfectly tasty. People go crazy for this place. If you like arepas then youll enjoy this. I think my 3* review is mainly down to the fact arepas dont light my fire like they do for other people.
