Tried roast on a busy Thursday around 1:30. Awesome service from the big guy up front. I ordered ahead and it was a quick 5 min wait and my good was whisked to me exactly as I ordered. The roasted turkey with avocado spread and chipotle mayo was seriously insane. Super juicy turkey with fresh Avocado/guacamole spread nice crisp green color. I had tomato and chipotle mayonnaise on side and tossed the tomato while dipping the sandwich in the Togo small dressing container. The bread was just perfect. Fluffy and soft with the perfect soft crust sourdough should have. No grease at all! Beet salad was fresh and lively. Roasted pear is unique and probably my favorite salad after trying these two only. This is my first visit. My girlfriend has been to roast at least ten times and the beet salad is in her top three. Her office orders Lucy from here and they are all impressed. Clean establishment and the prices are reasonable. The sandwiches are huge - equivalent in price and size to a normal Long Island deli sandwich. However, at roast at least I know the ingredients are sourced from well minded suppliers. Completely satisfied - definitely would buy again....

First off, I am a loyal customer of this place and would never post a review to harm the business of an establishment that I LOVE! I waited 15 minutes for a sandwich and fries. The fries were VERY oily and cold. Not when I got them back to work but when I got into my car. The sandwich which Ive ordered at least 5 times before was sub par. The amount of meat on the sandwich was lacking and there were spots where there just wasnt any. I have noticed that Roast has been recently declining in quality and while there, it would appear their business is growing and they arent keeping up. They simply cant keep up with the volume coming through there and have become very disorganized. Handing people the wrong order, entering the wrong order and just general confusion. I hope this place improves because the food and service was once spectacular but I cant see myself spending $20 for a sandwich and fries that dont meet the minimum expectation which always helped me ignore the terrible location and parking.

I placed an order for pick up. When I arrived there to pick up my order, They told me they ran out of the one item on my order. They claimed to have called me and spoke to someone letting them know they ran out of the item, however I never gave them my phone number when I placed the order... so how could they have called me..? Anyway. So I pick another item off the menu, bring the food back to the office, and when I got back, they gave my coworker a completely different sandwich... And than when I asked them if they could bring the right sandwich to my office, they refused and said "we have the paper from when the order was took right here and it shows you ordered the original sandwich" which I did not being that the sandwich they gave me wasent even on the menu I ordered off of being that I have an older menu!! Long story short. The foods great, but the girls at the front counter have no idea what they are doing.... Terrible customer service. So much for the customer is always right...

Just tried this place for the first time today as I am a loyal Panera bread you pick two customer. As frustrating as the parking was, it is easy to just park next door for a few mins if you have to, but aside from that the food was absolutely delicious and filling. I obviously got their you pick two, I tried the southwestern sandwich and the southwestern bbq chicken salad(not the exact names but close enough), talk about YUMM! The servings were about the same as Panera, just way heartier and much more filling. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place, plus you can save a couple of bucks even with a beverage as opposed to panera!

OK, The food here is spectacular. Expect a slight wait, because they are usually packed, and it is a small place. The sweet potato tots and the dipping sauce for their fries are both out of this world. I am subtracting a star, because of their delivery and pickup service. We have NEVER had an order delivered or for pickup that was not missing at least one item. The quality of their food makes up for these mistakes, but it is frustrating, and if you pick up an order there you should double check it.

So my wife works at Melville and told me this place was great for lunch. We got pickup for dinner and it was great except for the soup, which was REALLY SALTY. I called them and they agreed to compensate for a different soup. We decided to try again and got the potato soup this time along with salad and sandwich. This time the soup is literally like softened MASH POTATOES and the sandwich was really burnt. Highly disappointed and didnt bother to call the second time. Salad was good though.

Excellent food and service. Needed to cater a small party at the last minute. Sent them a message on Facebook after hours. They got in touch with me early in the morning the day of the event and made it all happen. Everybody loved the food. The Sweet Potato tots were a huge hit. Great job...

Ordered the tuna. Supposed to come on a full size sour dough hero. Came on a roll half the size its supposed to be. Never ordering from here again. Im so furious that I spent ten dollars looking at the size of this tiny thing, I want to launch it across my office right now.

Frequent this place for their yum sandwiches. Usually have the Pick 2 - their soup selection is limited but tasty. The meat used in the sandwich feels well prepared and fresh, and they do not use meat patties. The seasonal collection is also good.

Great place to get a quick yummy lunch. I recomend the buffolo chicken sanwhich and the roasted pear salad. For a side get the fries. Only complaint is its crowded at lunch time, limited parking and seating can be an issue, but food is great.

Its really crappy food. To bad I had high hopes after reading the reviews . I would have been better off going to subway. Dont waste your time with this place! ! ! I think the people who wrote the other reviews are the owners and their family

This sandwich shop is takeout for foodies. The food here is always amazing. They serve sandwiches, soups, salads and sides. Check out their menu online and order ahead since its made to order, you often have a wait for it to be made.

Great selections .love the Cuban sandwich and the fries ..update as of June 2017 they no longer have the Cuban sandwich on the menu but still have other great sandwiches ...hope they bring back the Cuban it was one of the best..

The place is small, but it is fairly new and I would expect that they will grow with time. Food is AWESOME!!!!! Gets a little crowded at times, especially for lunch. Its worth it, Best sandwiches and wraps in the area!!!!

Food was extremely salty, specially the soup, philly sandwich terrible, was dripping sauce all over and the bread was very soggy, I wont recommend this place if you are watching your weight. I rather to go to Subway
