I was shopping in Clifton Park last night with my husband and time got away from us and it was 9:15p already. I realized that we still hadnt had dinner nor did my family so I called to ask what everyone wanted. They said KFC. So I looked it up on my phone and it said that they were open until 2am in Malta. I tried to call first to verify but nobody answered the phone. It just rang and rang. So we drove the 20 minutes to Malta from Clifton Park. When we got there it was 9:45p and we waited nearly 10 minutes to order at the drive through. When I finally got to the speaker, I ordered two K8s and two K6 only for them to tell me that they are no longer serving KFC tonight and that they stop serving it at 9:00p. I was very irritated and I told the "boy" that the website says 2:00a. He told me that it was the Taco Bell side and I must have read the information wrong. I drove off and parked in the parking lot to call my family to see what they wanted since KFC was closed. So at a couple of minutes after 10:00p, I ended up ordering Taco Bell which was also located in Clifton Park, exactly where I already was before I drove all the way to Malta for KFC. I spent almost $30 on this taco junk. By the time I got it home it was soggy and gross. I got on my computer and googled "Malta Kentucky Fried Chicken". I took a screen shot of three different screens that said that Malta KFC was opened until 2:00a. There was no mention of Taco Bell on any of those three screens. I will include the screen shots when I email KFC about this. Also when I was inside waiting for my order, there was a nice Amish family that had ordered before we did. The family was sitting at table waiting for their order which was taking forever as was mine. When they finally got their order, which was simply a box of 12 soft and hard tacos and one bean burrito, the Amish father was told by the "girl" behind the counter that they couldnt eat it inside at the table because her manager wanted everyone out of the restaurant by 10:00p and it was now 10:15p. The father stood his ground and told the girl that they had been waiting a long time for the food and that they were going to remain seated and eat their food and that they would only be five minutes. I applaud him for that as they should have been told this before they ordered. I only wish that I just walked out and saved my money that I spent on that junk that I brought home to my family.

This review comes after my second visit in eight weeks. I am a store manager for a high volume coffee restaurant known throughout the world. The franchisee owns twenty-one stores in this district. I mention this because as a manager I have a keen eye for many things when I visit other restaurants as a guest whether it be fast food, casual dining, fine dining, small privately owned local, etc. Upon pulling into the parking lot I noticed quite a bit of trash all over; bags, cups, wrappers, napkins, cigarette butts and pieces of food. When I came to the front doors I saw that there was many smudges and had not been cleaned in a while. Smudges do happen but this was a result of many hours or days of neglect. As I entered I saw that the trash bin was overflowing and trash was spilling onto the floor. When I looked at the floor there was food and dirt embedded into carpet and the floor itself had pieces of food and wrappers scattered about. As I approached the front counter I observed crumbs and dried sauce on it. When I looked at the kitchen floor I could see that it had not been sweped and mopped in hours, if not all day. Grease was covering the equipment and the kitchen looked very disorganized. The soda station was covered with water and soda- very sticky- and was leaking/dripping and straws and straw wrappers were scattered about. I would be highly embarrassed and ashamed if I were managing this store and a guest walked in to see it in such disarray and dirty. I can understand some disorganization and after a lunch or dinner rush. However it was clearly not busy which brings me to another issue. I waited three or four minutes to have my order taken. Three different employees saw me standing there and not one said, "someone will be with you shortly", leaving me to wonder if there was anyone stationed at the pos area. As I said above, this was my second time there in eight weeks and the store was in the same condition I described the first time I visited eight weeks ago. I will follow through with the corporate offices and relay this information to them. There is no excuse for the restaurant to be in this condition.

Disappointing visit. KFC had a national promotion for a buy one get one free meal for 2 pc boneless chicken combo. Hoping to use the coupon about the expire, I was told by the manager through an associate that KFC and other KFCs discontinued the boneless chicken combo and no longer honor the coupon. Not even a substitute meal for the coupon! Fortunately, I leave empty handed as I ordered delicious burritos and tacos from the value menu at Taco Bell. Besides this KFC having a Taco Bell built in, there are no other positive aspects that would attract me to visit here regularly. Of Note: Upon returning home, I called other KFCs around the area and confirmed that 2 pc boneless combo is served and the coupon is also honored! Felt gypped at Malta...

What a terrible place. The Malta KFC/Taco bell is by far the worst chain I have visited. My wife and I occasionally enjoy the box meal with the chicken strips and sides. We usually get it in Saratoga. We happened to be in Malta the other night and purchased two boxes there. When we got them home, we opened the boxes to find tiny, thin pieces of chicken. I had to eat crackers and cheese after that because I was still hungry. Normally, I eat two of the three strips and thats enough for me. Im hoping that this is just the Malta KFC and not the others. Ill try Saratoga again in a couple of weeks and if its the same, no more KFC for me. FYI, we had Taco Bell from Malta a few weeks ago too and it was horrible. Why didnt I learn from that mistake?

This place is consistently bad. I moved up here in April and have been here about 3 times. The first time I got hot wings and tasted like they were several hours old. So next time I told them to make it fresh, which they did and everything was fine. This last time, I asked for it fresh, the cashier started joking with someone in the back about it and said it would be 10 minutes, Which is fine if you want it fresh. I get home and the wings tasted like they were in the frier way passed their time. The chicken was very bloody also. Complete garbage. Ill never go here again.

Bad, I wanted to try the Georgia gold chicken so I went to the drive through and ordered a 3 piece box. When I got to the window they asked me "what was your order" ( bad sign) I told them Georgia gold 3piece box. When I got home I had 3 tiny dried out fingers with Hot pepper oil on them I tossed them in the trash it was terrible. Do not go there!!!
