Went there for dinner with friends and requested to sit outside on their patio, and had been told that there would be a 20 minute wait. After 20 minutes we had inquired about the wait time and was then told we were next to be seated and should be quick, well we saw a table open up but then they had sat another group instead of us without any notice as to why. Asked again what the wait time was truly going to be then was told there was actually a wait list that had 3 groups ahead of ours and had no estimate as to when we would be seated. During this whole time the wait staff on the patio had been neglecting the tables and many of the people had been ready for their orders and checks, but had failed to wait the tables causing the back up in wait times forcing the owner to check on those tables. Finally we had made a complaint to the owner, as he was outside sternly asking people to pay their checks and leave, and we were told that the wait list had no merit on the order which they sat groups and that they had not had any obligation to tell those people how that the wait was predicted to be. He had offered no apology and frankly was very rude through out his interactions with us and his patrons besides those whom he was friends with. Overall I cannot recommend this restaurant as the professionalism which the staff and owner had were sub par in treating their customers. If you are in search of barbeque in the area there are other options which provide excellent food, while also providing their customers better, honest service.

This place was awful. The service was terrible. Heres some examples: Time in/out: 90 mins (which is ok, if youre having a good time) Bartenders: Both of them sending text messages or talking to friends while everyone else waited. Host/Hostess: Wasnt there. Took 10 minutes to get beyond this point because no one was there to seat you. Waitress/Server: Complete idiot. Hardly ever saw her. When you did ask for something, you waited almost ten minutes each time to get what you wanted. Really enjoyed watching here get the give the check and receive the credit card for the table next to us. I hope using my sons meal as a resting place for your pen, his credit card, and the check was convenient for you. Or you could have given us his food first, since we asked for it twice, before you started checking out the table 5 feet away and using his meal as a resting spot for all the things that belong in your pocket. Patron: Thank you patron I saw watching TV and enjoying a beer at the bar - for bringing me my beer. This was weird. if you hadnt of brought it out, I probably would never have received it. Overall, this place blows. The people that work there are way over their heads and have no idea what their doing.

I found the food to be delicious. Perfectly prepared and still hot (ordered to go). I ordered at 1845 hours and was told twenty five minutes. I arrive at the restaurant at 1900. The place was packed and very crammed. I was told our food would be out soon when we arrived. At 1930, still no food. It was Memorial Day so it was very understandable. We were told it would be five more minutes. At 1945 hours, we were told the food was being boxed up. Finally fifteen minutes later, we received it... Could have gotten it for free (and almost everybody else ahead of us too), because the hostess (who was also answering phones, waiting tables and playing hostess) kept forgetting to charge people. They were friendly and very hardworking, though. Again, I will go back because the food was incredible, but they really need to staff more people there. Not the staffs fault that was there, they were doing their best, but goodness, get them more help!

This place has a really cool set up with all the old signs and deer horns and weird stuff all over the walls. They have a pretty good liquor selection at the bar too. I was not very impressed with their food went there with a large party they had seating but it was cramped. Our waitress was okay she was nice enough but we definitely had to wave her down for refills on our drinks. Definitely never like doing that anywhere I go. Other than that our food came out in a timely manner. I had a buffalo sandwich it was definitely not as good as I expected it to be.. Bathrooms were also located upstairs which was very odd the steps were Steep and there was no railing only one stall for girls men at least had a stall in between the urinal and bathroom.

Came on a bad night. Ordered half-rack that came to table lukewarm, tough/under cooked, with barbecue sauce neatly spread on it as if prepared for a photo shoot vs. eating. In fact, all the food was not hot when delivered to table. At least 3 previous visits had service issues, but not food preparation issues. Had visitors from the south visiting and told them food was (at least) on-par/better than Dinosaur. YIKES! Wrong answer. Friend from south didnt even attempt to eat 1/4 rack after a minute of building bicep muscles trying to cut a rib loose with steak knife. I may never live this one down. $135.00 lesson learned. A little QC on ribs prep is definitely in order.

I had the chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl. My mother had Black bean soup in a bread bowl as well. She found the soup to be burnt and not properly seasoned.The Chicken noodle soup was delicious. We got the grilled chicken club. It was horrid! The chicken was cold and still pink inside! My mother had the Spanish rice. It was alright, but too spicy for her taste. The only thing that I enjoyed was the the atmosphere and the french fries. The waitress was nice, the service was nice as well. Hope this review helps :)

I like to try BBQ everywhere I go. Being in New York today, came across this place. On the menu was Carolina BBQ... I had to try! Told the waitress who was super nice, I was from the birthplace of BBQ, ask her to tell the chief to send me their best BBQ. They send me out a sampler plate. If the loose the ketchup they will have some good BBQ I would definitelygo back for.

Ordered some lunch togo today. It was awesome. 1/2 chicken looked amazing and tasted even better. Not too much smoke and still moist. Chili was rich with tender meat and had great heat and flavor. Huge side of perfect fresh cut fries. Everything a restaurant should be...all from scratch, good portion, priced right and prepared by cooks who obviously cared. thank you

Hair on one plate Coleslaw warm and tasted like fruit. Lots of onions in the cucumber salad. Beans have a lot of meat, if you like meat in your beans, great, but it was too much for our table. Wrong burger was served​ and the waitress was argumentative. Cheap drinks. Ribs and chicken were great. A bit expensive for the quality.

I dont know if it was a bad night, or what, but the food was not good at all tonight! We went there after several recommendations from friends. We were very disappointed. Our server was good however. Probably wont waste date night going there again.
