Got to the Doo Wop "diner" at 12 noon in the summer. Was told that there is no breakfast after noon. Hard to believe that a place can be called a diner and not serve breakfast all day. Everything we wanted was in one way or another on the lunch menus. Waffles and icecream without the icecream. Bacon on the side, that they would have for the burgers. French fries instead of home fries, and I just wanted two fried eggs. The waitress was accommodating to this, except she got yelled at by the chef about making two fried eggs. Really???? You cant crack two eggs on the flat top to make a customer happy???? You would think that I could have a fried egg on my burger if I wanted. Why cant I have it on a plate. It baffles me why people are in an industry that they do not understand.

Great food, wonderful staff. Can it be a bit slow if the place is jumping? Yes. Thats a sign theyre doing it right. Everything is fresh cooked, and piping hot and delicious when it hits your table. The menu specifically mentions that if youre looking for fast, move along. This isnt heat lamp food, and takes a while to prepare. I love the ambiance, the great music thats loud enough to enjoy but soft enough that you can also have a conversation. I make a point of hitting this place every time Im in the area.

After the concert, this is a great choice for a late night meal. We attended an event at the Wildwoods Convention Center l, leaving around 10pm on Saturday night. We decided to stop here to eat. The wait staff were excellent and OMG the Fonzi steak sandwich is OVER TOP TOP fantastic. My friend took his first bite, clapped his hands once, and exclaimed, "Wow! That is good!!" Easy to get to from convention center parking and right across the boardwalk from the bungee cage, and other aerial rides.

The server wear cute pink poodle skirts and the entire atmosphere is delightful. 1950s diner truly resonates throughout. Our server was peppy and cheerful. Good service! But their highlight is their Angus burger selection. Unlike the fast food on the rest of the boardwalk, your food is freshly made so you can take the time to sit and talk while you wait for quality food. And boy do I mean quality! One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Definitely a go to spot on the boardwalk for me.

My family and I never got the chance to sit down and eat. The Hostess and Manager seated three other caucasian families who had bigger parties before us. This ordeal made my family and I livid!! They werent even Americans! They come to America and display racism just like some Americans do, but they have no idea that theyre minorities too. And Caucasians arent too fond of them either. I experienced RACISM to the FULLEST!!!!

We were seated quickly, and served quickly, which was surprising since its #1 on TripAdvisor for Wildwood. Right on the boardwalk. The milk shakes were amazing. So rich and creamy. We ordered burgers - a traditional, and one topped with fried shrimp and a cajun mayo (forget the name on the menu). Both tasted really good. Im not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries, ever, but as they go, they were fine. Overall, very good, fast.

Weve been coming to Wildwood for over 10 years each summer, and this is ALWAYS our favorite breakfast spot on thr boardwalk. Very nice servers and managers. Food is delicious and you really get a good sized portion for the price. The decor is very cute and retro. All the photos and memorabilia always make for interesting table talk while you wait for your meal. Love this place.

Awesome place. Clean, air conditioned and awesome food. . If you are walking the Wildwood boardwalk this is quite simply the best place to eat. It is clean, it has a nice staff, and it has GREAT food and wonderful 50s atmosphere. If you have to eat somewhere on the Wildwood boardwalk, this is absolutely the place that he wants to eat at.

We are at the Wildwood boardwalk every year for a competition & we ALWAYS eat here. Its a fun atmosphere & the staff are friendly. The service is a little slow but nothing unreasonable. The portions are HUGE. Sadly we missed out going this year because of a lightening storm & went someplace else & we did NOT like that place at all.

Breakfast was delicious.. I wish they had bagel sandwiches (only had croissant sandwiches). And unfortunately, they dont start serving lunch until 12. My GF wasnt really in the mood for breakfast for her first meal even though it was 10:30. The Doo-Wop Style atmosphere is Wildwood at its finest.

De-licious!! We loved the music and the food. Nothing beats a greasy burger on the board walk coupled with a fantastic milkshake! Our waitress was Ilania and she was the sweetest thing! No one there seemed unhappy to be there. Just a great place to stop in for a quality meal on the boardwalk.

After I spent all of my Friday night throwing up from eating at Jumbos....I needed a good place to eat breakfast in the morning. I read the reviews and saw Doo Wop placed highly. I had the BEST breakfast there. The home fries are great. I def recommend anyone to eat here.

Awesome cheeseburgers! They have about excellent selection of unique style burgers. My cheeseburger had a donut for a bun! Which Id highly recommend. Its a 50s themed restaurant, with great food and good service. Id highly recommend checking this place out.

Probably some of the best food physically on the boards. And not the usual pizza and cheese steak crap youre accustomed too. Have never had breakfast... always eat lunch or dinner. Wraps are huge, burgers good, and fabulous milkshakes.

This place is so cool. 9 Oclock at night and almost every seat was full. Main street prices on the boardwalk. The food is really good. The best meal ever on the Wildwood boardwalk. See for yourself. Staff is attentive.

The overall feel of this place is great. It is completely 1950s themed. The burgers all have something unique about them. For example one has Mac and cheese on it and another one has breakfast food on it.

Pretty nice atmosphere, we were seated almost immediately even though the place was packed. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Food was great and milkshakes were amazing. Prices were adequate for a diner.

This is the best place on the entire boardwalk that can pull off breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My family looks forward to the burgers for dinner and for breakfast, my dad and I split the kitchen sink omelet.

Good menu and the service is nice. Fun environment and music. Its good compared to other places on the boardwalk because its a real restaurant with tables, waiters, private bathroom, etc.
