I am a rising senior attending Ithaca College - staying here over the summer because multiple people had said that I must experience Ithaca during the summer. Arent I glad I did, because I found Lincoln Street Diner. My house-mates dad works with a fellow who owns a houseboat on Cayuga during the summer. He recommended we give it a try (talk about word of mouth advertising). I plan on making this place a weekly Saturday/Sunday morning ritual. Im somewhat devastated Ive only a year left at the college and Ive only just found it. Service is great. Our waitress had a sarcastic dry wit. It was refreshingly different from the uptight, overly polite, eager-for-tips waitresses and waiters at most places. She was great and made us all laugh. When she found out it was our first time she called attention to the diner and had us introduce ourselves and had the entire diner welcome us. It sounds embarrassing, but it wasnt at all. Serving sizes are great too. I had the Cajun Gravy and Biscuits which I couldnt even finish (and it was only $4.50).

We enjoyed out breakfast here. We sat at the counter so my wife, a foodie, could just watch the action. We enjoyed how our chef (wish I caught his name) interacted with the kitchen, us, and other guests. Its a good, no-nonsense diner atmosphere. Unfortunately it didnt seem like others in the restaurant were quite as busy as our chef, so our coffee cups were dry a couple times.

Granted on a normal day I would not have looked at this place twice, it was your typical hole in the wall diner.... I was surprised, the breakfast was great, everyone was pleased with their meal not just me. Coffee was great and my cup was never empty! Very reasonable prices a very friendly place I enjoyed it very much! We were headed to the zoo in Syracuse! Fun day! Thanks!

Waited a while before waiter came over to get our order, just my husband and i, the place was not busy at all. Waiter said she would bring soup right away. Another couple came in after we ordered and got their food before i even got my soup. My husbands order was also supposed to come with coffee and we never got it. Food was okay, not phenomenal, wouldnt visit again.

Diner style, but better than average. Awesome sausage done very differently than your average breakfast sausage, and great pancakes! I got the single pancake to go with my savory meal- Love that they let you order a side pancake! Its the best! And awesome service!

One of the most entertaining dining experiences of my life. Our waitress was sassy, sarcastic, and absolutely hilarious. A wonderful departure from the norm these days. Great food, great atmosphere, and I highly, highly recommend getting there if you can.

Great food, friendly atmosphere. Small diner, open for breakfast and lunch, delicious specials daily. Be prepared for group conversation, often with a little sarcasm at no extra cost. Accepts credit cards, but the tip has to be in cash.

Great place... no gluten-free, no vegan, not a smartphone in sight. Unique in Ithaca in that its open during actual breakfast hours. Cajun Gravy and Biscuits are excellent.

Best Diner in town, hands down. Screw the Olive Garden, when you are at the Lincoln Street diner you are family. Great food, great prices.
