Mt. Fuji and the Views at Mt. Fuji are fantastic establishments. When you enter you are greeted with an amazing history of the building and images of famous people who have dined there. The bar does great speciality drinks and the staff is extremely attentive. If you are dining upstairs at habachi it is some of the best I have ever been too. The chefs are highly skilled and the wait staff is fantastic. Birthdays are always fun and they let you bring in your own cake. If you are dining at the Views then most likely Bruce organized the event and you are in for a truly wonderful affair. The food is fantastic. The service is A+ and the views are stunning. Having been involved in the planning of at event at the Views I can attest that no detail is forgotten or overlooked. Everything about Mt. Fuji is worth it. I highly recommend expierence both.

Mount Fuji is in a nice area in the mountains of New York. But the food is not nice. We were seated with a group of random people which was very awkward when youre on a date. We ordered the filet mignon and shrimp the salad and soup were mediocre. Then came the shrimp that comes with your meal it was undercooked and made me feel sick the next day then we got the rice which was bland and had no taste so I had to put extra soy sauce on it. then I receive the noodles which tasted like seafood I dont know if they store their noodles and seafood in the same place but it was disgusting. I didnt stay for the steak because I was so grossed out then they had the nerve when I said I didnt like it to make me pay for the salad and soup that I ate, very poorly managed business and I even hibachi all the time but will not be returning to this one

I am extremely allergic to seafood and was having seconds thoughts once i arrived and was reviewing the menu. My wife spoke to the host the waiter and our personal chef and everyone were very much aware of my issue. The staff was very attentive to my condition and did everything to accomodate me. The chef was able to cook my food first and the fact that it was being cooked in front of me it made me feel very much at ease. My family and i had an amzing time and everything was perfect from the staff, ambiance, and the food was delicious. I would love to return and bring along a larger group tonshare the amazing experience. Btw Shawn the cook was the best. I wish i can request him for my next experience. He had us all laughing and was very down to earth. I must say to keep up the amazing work at Mount Fuji Hillburn NY.

This restaurant is amazing! It is on a very lovely, scenic hill. When you enter, you are greeted with a very attentive wait staff, and you are seated. My group sat in a a booth near a window overlooking the hillside. When you sit, you are asked to remove your shoes and you relax on some soft cushions. The waiter/waitress comes over and hands you the menus and asks for your drink order. (I recommend the iced green tea). Then, theyll come back, and take your order. They serve hibachi and sushi. The hibachi shrimp is to die for! If you get the hibachi, the chef will come over, and start the amazing show! Our chef was singing, and tossing the food, while cooking it. It was very entertaining for the whole family. Everything tasted amazing, and I will definitely go back.

Though it was my mistake for not making a reservation, there was an hour wait, when arriving they talked me into a booth. One of the Chef still cook in front of you but not as motivated as the table chef. Still waited an hour while seated for chef to attend and cook. The 2 stars are for the atmosphere it brings to you from the outside and outstanding views. But, was extremely overpriced. The counter ladies rush you and are all over you the entire time, annoying, give us space. I can honestly say the fuji steak house in galleria mall, in middletown, was allot better and priced so much better for the quality of food. I highly recommend fuji steak house, you will get more bang for your buck especially if you go with a family of 5.

We had a birthday party at the Views. Honestly, I figured since it is a buffet I didn’t expect anything great. However, the food was very fresh and delicious. There were a lot of choices, even for the kids! The food presentation was great as well. Our party was a surprise and the manager at the Views, Bruce, was very accommodating! He worked with me and helped me organize and keep it the way I wanted it. The views from the restaurant are absolutely amazing, but you have to come before darkness to really enjoy them! The stuff is very friendly and accommodating. I can’t thank enough the owners for having such a great restaurant!!! I’d highly recommend the place to anyone interested in having a great time or a party.

Went for an after Valentines Day dinner with another couple. Good thing we made reservations Becuase it was really busy. 1st time there and just getting there is an adventure, windy road, up the mountain. Outside is beautiful and they have valet parking. We sat with a family of 4 and they were very nice. Our cook, Andy, was hilarious and very nice. They cooks there did more singing and laughing than any other Japanese hibachi place Ive been to. Food was delicious and very filling. The only thing was the drink sizes. Soda glass are slim and small. Also had a mango flavored margarita in a small glass. And $10 a margarita, thought a bigger glass wouldve been nice but I get why they do it

This place is a joy to come to. It feels like you are tranferred back to the 80-90s. The decor is magnificent with large scale statues which look as though they were transferred straight from ancient Japan, and top to bottom murals and furniture to fit the scene. The food is standard and satisfying and its fun to watch the entertainment as you are being served. The meat quality was very good, the steak was tender and juicy, and was well butchered, not chewy at all. I recommend going before sunset as beyond nightfall there is no view, just darkness and a few distant lights. I recommend this restaurant, and its good for groups.

Always a great time. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. Bringing my children here tonight for the first time if we can get a reservation. Last time my mother who is hearing impaired came with me and I quietly let the server know this. He spoke very clear and directly to her when she needed to order which was so great and we appreciated very much so. The time before I went with one other person for lunch and our chef had us laughing and mingling with the group at the table in no time. Such a great spot for any occasion and the food is just delicious. Thanks for always giving us such a wonderful experience.

Last year in November, 3 of us came to this restaurant (all piano teachers) It was during a weekday at 5 p.m. and the restaurant was empty. We were sat in the middle of the room and so I please requested to be seated in a booth, our waiter showed us a booth but here came the manager and said we could not use the booths because we werent 4 people. I find that if the restaurant is empty when we walked in and empty when we walked out what was the point of the rudeness? -Anyhow, the food was excellent but one of my friends said she would never be back because she felt mistreated by the managers "High and Mighty" attitude.
