Cafe Kriza ia actually one my favorite places in Great Neck. The atmosphere is very cool and the style of the place is very trendy (with French decor in a modern twist like the blue lights in the bar). The Chef adds new stuff to the menu all the time, and everything weve tried is not only delicious, but clearly made with lots of love. The place used to serve a large selection of salads and sandwiches (panini and wraps), along with lots of appetizers, but now they also have several types of fish for dinner and also soups from time to time. The food is European with a middle eastern influence, and the mix of tastes are the kind one would generally only find overseas. Trendy music from all over the world plays in the the background, and on Saturday Night the place is almost always full.

I found the service to be mediocre at best and the setting wholly uninspiring. The quality of the food was uneven as some of the starters and deserts (prepared by an outside bakery?) were quite good, but my panini was dismal. The cheese was rubbery, the bread was dry, stale and overcooked. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We come here quite often. My very picky husband lives the Tunisian Tuna Panini. Ive gotten a number of different things here and Ive never been disappointed. Prices are average for good quality kosher food.

Nice-looking casual kosher dairy restaurant. The hummus is really good. A lot of salads and paninis, etc. Typically priced for kosher in this neighborhood.
