Decided on this restaurant as per reviews here. Love the location and I was anticipating an awesome experience however, that was not the case. Not sure if it was b/c it was a late Sunday evening but, the food was a miss. I ordered the coconut bass and I truly believe I was served catfish instead. Ordered arroz con pollo ( rice and chicken) from childrens menu for my daughter, literally a bowl of white rice with cut up grilled chicken!!! Not sure if the chef is familiar with Cuban cuisine but, that was definitely no "arroz con pollo". Flan for dessert was the only thing I can truly say was on point. Again, not sure if it was an off night. Heed with caution.

The outdoor seating at Tony Cuban is great especially if the weather is conducive. We had a small get together/baby shower there and we thoroughly enjoyed the setting. There were unlimited drinks (Sunday brunch) with the choice ranging from Sangria, bloody Mary to Lime Margherita. You could swap between them and they were pretty adequate. The food was great too. I had the veggie burger while the wife tried Penne pasta with Ala Vodka sauce. The mussels were great too. The starters ( I dont remember the specifics anymore) were pretty sumptuous too. The fact that this is a couple of blocks from the boardwalk is a huge plus.

service is absolutely horrible..we are a party of 6 we made reservations and came here for the brunch bottomless drinks we were ignored for 45 minutes out of the 2 hours allowable. when the food came steak is not how I ordered..eggs arent how I ordered..they even brought the wrong toast. Im actually currently still at the restaurant and i could not wait to share the horrible experience with everyone...and just to add 5 out of 6 of the dishes we ordered were prepared incorrectly...waste of a Saturday afternoon!

Family of 5: service was extremly slow over 1.5 hr wait, people came after us and got their food before us. Kids meal came out before the appetizer. Getting utensils were a problem and came out well after the rest of the food, even though we asked over and over again. Of all the meals only one tasted good, the portabella and steak flatbread. Kids meal: grill chicken (very dry) and white rice (no veg), pizza, appetizer: fried calamari, main couse: seafood paella.... All was not good and lacked any real flavor.

Easter Sunday 2017 (my second time here).. I celebrated my bday here with my family and it was amazing. The food delicious hands down, the baked empanada, i never tried them b4, were superextramasqueextra yummy and the staff super attentive. Rafael the manager accommodated us outside the weather was super nice for the terrace for April, it was an awesome experience. Recommend this place 100%.... Thanks for making this day so special.

My husband and I took our children and grandchildren a party of ten to Tony Cuban in Freeport for dinner. The food was incredible everyone had something different and loved all the dishes. Our waitress Annie was wonderful and helped us make delicious choices. Frank the owner was very warm and friendly. The live music was great. We are already telling our friends to go and eat there. Cannot wait to go back.

Finally got the family together for brunch and came here only to receive terrible service. Waitress didnt come to our table for about 45 minutes after taking our order, which we had to wait about 45 minutes to receive also. After a complaining to the manager waitress became more attentive but with an obvious attitude. Two stars because the bread pudding was amazing!

I mean its an amazing restaurant great food they have they home made beer the special Tony you should try it. There also have vegan dish. I love ambiance, nice decor and a beautiful Deck in water on the back. You will feel like you were in Florida even you in Freeport ny . after your lunch you can walk on the nautical Miles. You must visit this amazing place.

Awful service. We had a reservation and were waiting for 10 minutes in the empty restaurant waiting to be seated. Also, took over 30 minutes for us to get menu and over 3 hours for us to get our food for only 6 people. Absolutely terrible. Would never come back again. It was a disgrace and a disappointment.

food wasnt great but ok. clams oregenata was poorly done. mozzarella tower was average good ingredients. avacado olive oil was interesting. home made mozzarella meaty and good home made taste. Ropa vieja was decent. mojito was below average not good enough for seconds. great atmosphere.

This place is so unusual but in a great way. Waitstaff is fabulous...so attentive! Band is damn good..Kudos to them! Food is delish! Thank you for a fabulous night with my sweetheart -- we will be back soon.

The service was good , however been a native Cuban the food needs a lot of help. Is not authentic and is very expensive. Not a place I would recommend nor visit again.

Just off the main drag on a picturesc canal in Freeport. Outdoor & indoor seating and bars, friendly service & great Cuban food. Parking is a bit cramped though.
