Lake Pavilion is a Chinese banquet hall on the outskirts of Flushing. Its large enough for a 200 person wedding - although I doubt they have parking for that many!! The food is not Chinese American, but straight up Cantonese delicacies. This is also the site of the most epic check battle Ive ever witnessed. We ordered a set menu list (with modifications!) Cold platter - jelly fish, pig ear, beef tongue, pickled daikon Winter melon soup - excellent Fried fish over spinach Lobster sticky rice Fried dungeoness crab Fried jumbo prawns Ong choy with squid Goat stew Fried frog with taro Service is wayyyy better than standard Chinese restaurants. We had 4 plate changes, helpful menu suggestions, and quick deliveries. The decor is also brighter and more modern than most. In addition, there are about seven private rooms. And the value is fabulous! If you can manage how to get here its definitely worth a trip. The Chinatown-Flushing van makes a stop right outside.

Didnt really like this place too much. I took my boyfriend out for a nice dinner and it turned out to be the worst experience Ive ever had on main street. First off when we say down it took about 10 mins before anyone came to place our order. We order lamb 2x and got different parts of the lamb the second time. And they didnt allow us to cook our own food. There was a lady with one pair of tongs flipping everyones food and after I saw that I asked to cook my own. When they brought our oysters there was a crack in the shell which I just didnt appreciate. When we paid I left no tip but the front desk women insisted that I leave one. Overall I felt very over looked by the whole staff. Wont be going back ever again.

只有三种选择，火锅，烧烤，火锅烧烤一起吃，一家人高兴出来吃饭，他们三个选择吃烧烤，我选择吃火锅，这时候问题来了，店家说这样不能坐一起，那如果一个吃火锅，一个吃烧烤，另一个吃火锅加烧烤，那一家人怎么坐，是不是要坐成三桌，那还一起出来吃什么饭，能开心吃饭吗，后来只能全部吃烧烤了，菜品和太少又不好吃，我只能给个差评。

Clean and yummy hotpot away from the crowded flushing area! if you have clusterphobia or do not like being in crowds I highly recommend coming to this location! they have a branch in flushing but this one is my preferred stop. everything looks very modern and the food looks fresh. they have a great variety of food to select from. AYCE what more do you want?!? they also have their elmhurst special of broth selection...! tom yum and i think a few other ones! all very good!!! i cant wait to come back already! Oh and did i mention they also have the bbq combo option!

Just a Fantastic place to take family and Friends...Food is GREAT, staff was quick to bring food and helpful to any questions...A great Bargain price, for all you can eat, different types of meats...Please dont listen to any HATERS, that say anything bad about this place...I drive from Glendale, Queens which is a 30 minute ride by car, and if there was anything wrong with this place, I would NOT be coming here, at least twice per month...Highly recommend to all

Craving Chinese/Korean food one night and this became my boyfriends and I detour spot after arriving late to another buffet (this place is open until 2am, last call at 12:30am). Great find. Fresh, delicious food and staff was kind and helpful. We went with the BBQ instead of hotpot but will definitely be trying the hotpot next time.

The quality of the meat is okay, in my opinion the texture was like rubber. Theres really nothing special here. Ive tried better Korean BBQ places and this is by far my least favorite. The worst part is that they dont even cut the meat for you. I definitely do not reccomened people to come here.

I like that each person has their own pot with different selection of soups to pick from and theres a condiment area. Its $28 for dinner with tax and tips included. Even though I dont think I ate $28 worth of food, its still a very pleasant experience to dine here.

The staff fell over themselves being helpful. I was the only one of the group of us that had Korean Hot Pot before. All the usual things to eat, but the marinaded chicken was outstanding.
