This restaurant deserves 5 stars for quick/friendly servers, delicious food, and their seriousness with food allergies. My boyfriend and I spent the last night of our vacation upstate at Copper Bottom. Fred from Glenmere Brewing Co highly recommended we eat there and we were very pleased with the entire experience. Danielle, our server, was quick, friendly and helpful when it came to my gluten-allergy. I ordered a basic BBQ burger with apple cider bacon and my boyfriend ordered ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The ribs in particular slid right off the bone! I almost wished we had ordered 2 orders of ribs instead of my burger. :) This will definitely be on our list when we return for our next trip this winter.

Absolutely horrible service! Waited at least 45 minutes for our food and 10 minutes for a glass of water to be brought to the table. Busgirl was aimlessly wandering around restaurant not filling glass or clearing plates, just wandered in circles doing nothing. Food was not hot, so we sent it back. It came back quickly, still cold. Asked to speak to the manager, was told he was too busy cooking to come address our concerns. Restaurant was busy and when we lodged a complaint we were told they were too busy and the staff was already upset and crying. Charged full price for my meal when with such a bad experience youd think it would be taken off the bill. Will NEVER ever go back!

Loved going to Copper Bottom. We went from work many times as a group to share promotions and birthdays. This time we had a party of 15. Per phone call can no longer accomidate will no longer seperate the bill. Not very nice about the explanation either. we could bring a calculator to do our own math but they wanted to take entire bill and divide by 15 for those needing to pay by card. Not everyone has the extra to pay for those who order more so can not go there anymore. Guess well find a new favorite place lots of competition out there. My tuna not good last time so maybe it is time anyway. Customer service matters though.

The Copper Bottom has an unassuming exterior in a store front shared with a liquor store, but dont let that put you off, because the inside is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is divided into two separate dining areas and a bar that also has tables. The menu feels upscale, with items such as fried asparagus, with prosciutto, shaved parmesan and capers or the seared tuna, but there are also plenty of local favorites as well, and the prices are moderate. A meal for two with alcohol was mid-50s. Much of their food is locally sourced from the famous nearby Black Dirt farms.

New owner, Marco Solari, has done a wonderful job of updating the "American Grill" cuisine without sacrificing either elegance or service. This landmark establishment has always been a favorite hangout for local celebrities and residents, and Solari clearly knows how to do it the right way. He has assembled a good staff and already has the chops to run a good restaurant from his years of experience at his famous namesake place in Bergen Countys Hackensack.

In this age of incredible restaurant public relations and paid publicity it is getting harder and harder to find a solid restaurant experience. As someone who has been involved in the restaurant & food business since birth Im not easily mesmerized by nonsensical hype or lemming like behavior of the Zagat bunch. In short Mr. Solari has a winner here. Nice presentation backed up by genuine cooking skill.

First visit this weekend and was quite disappointed after looking forward to trying this place out. The dishes were dirty and the floor and light fixtures were dirty and outdated. Wait staff was nice but after the dirt factor, food was okay, nothing worth coming back for. The cocktails were quite weird.

The staff were quick and courteous. The waitress was ready with wine recommendations for dinner. Delicious dinner and even better tiramisu for dessert. Restaurant tries to be fine dining but could lose the televisions throughout the place which reinforce the "Sports Bar" feel.

What a gem! I have been there for both lunch and dinner and go back as often as possible. The food was fantastic and the service could not have been better. Oh, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the cuisine. I highly recommend The Copper Bottom.

I highly recommend dining at the Copper bottom restaurant. As new residents of Florida, we have dined there on several occasions and have been pleased with the food and service. Staff are attentive and pleasant.
