First off the restaurant is so busy its kind of overwhelming. We sat at the hibachi table. I ordered filet mignon and lobster tail. They had a plastic bucket with dirty dishes cups ect through half the meal before removing in full site. Then they brought out butter, which had gross black pieces of a previous presentation on top,, at least scrape off the used portion first before bringing it out.the shrimp had a bland taste and very rubbery. Then they made my steak and I told them no teriyaki sauce on mine since I dont like sweet food...chef complied..but then on my lobster tail he pours teriyaki all over it...their steak was good quality but I had a very skimpy portion. I will never go back to this place again. If your in the area check out the one next to the Barnes and noble, more superior than this place

Atmosphere and restaurant was very nice. The food was good and the Hibachi Chef was fantastic. The reason I rate it a 3 is because its moderately price but the hit you with unrevealed extra. No free refills on the kids drinks. They never mentioned that they were charging and I was surprised by the additional charges. No big deal but you should advise on extras. They also messed up my wifes fish twice and still charge her for it. Should have been complementary since she was still waiting to eat after everyone else was done.

The place gets very busy and suited for all types. It ranges from a big after work crowd at the bar to families with children at the booths. The servers are accommodating and the food is decent. It is pricey but if your looking for something to do that is kid friendly that the same time, does not make you feel like your in a "kid friendly" type restaurant, this is a good place.

We had Hibachi for a family members birthday. The chef was good but needs to read his crowed better. Some people dont want to drink saki from a plastic bottle, when the person declined to drink it dont ask them 10 more times practically forcing it on them. The food was good, environment was nice, a lot of little kids screaming and oblivious parents.

If you are looking for wonderful ambiance,delicious fresh sushi and hibachi Mio is the place to go.lunch specials are very reasonable and generous portions. The service is great and everyone is so friendly. Splurge the calories and have the fried ice cream. You wont be disappointed.

Nice place for a date in the Elwood area. Their sushi seemed fresh, and their waitstaff was friendly. Bartenders severely lacked experience - referred to Heineken as a "craft beer" which was laughable during happy hour.

Ok hibachi with all the parlor tricks youve come to expect. Very modern and well kept atmosphere. Less than enthusiastic chef. Good portion sizes, but prices are a bit high for the overall experience.
