My family & I came for Easter dinner. Location for us was key as we gathered from Westchester, Putnam & Orange couties. My wife & mother in law had been here previously when it was called the reef & beef. We had reservabtions & were brought right to our table. John our waiter greeted us & brought our drinks while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We ordered calamari, Irish nachos & buffalo chicken stuffed egg rolls. The calamari was good, but everyone raved about how unusual & delicious the other two were. I ordered the prime rib which is only available on weekends & it was spot on for temp & flavor. My wife ordered the seafood paella, but they were sold out of that item so she for the crab cakes instead. She said they were good but really came to life with the romulade. The plates were big & everyone had a box to go. No room for desert, but most of us for an after dinner espresso. The service was just as good as the food. John for our order 100% right, & was on top of refills all the way. Would recommend asking for him. Great place, will be back!

One star since thats the lowest option. Just left this place & have had both good & bad service and meals previously. Tonight, not so good on the service end. Sat at the bar, placed my order and was reading a book while I waited. I became aware my food was being served when the plate was just tossed in front of me, no other acknowledgement or inquiry if I needed anything else. I asked for my check, paid my bill, sans tip, left the tossed plate of food & left. If the server had even asked if everything was ok when I asked for my check right after I was "served" it would have been a different story. I really should have just paid for the soda I had a few sips of and said something to the manager on my way out. I only paid the bill because someone still prepared the food & I understand there are costs involved with that even if the service/courtesy is seriously lacking. When I go out to eat I do not expect to be treated like someone who has asked for one too many favors. Im paying for what I ask for & expect no less than to be treated as a valued customer.

This was my second visit at Table 9 and both time i had an awful experience. After my first visit i was convinced id never return, but i decided to give it a second chance. This was the last straw and will never return. The waitress took so long at attending my family and I, once the food arrived i went to take my utensils and saw that there was a dirty fork and a napkin with mashed potato smothered on it. The waitress never came to see if everything was alright so it took me like 8 minutes to finally ask for a clean napkin and fork. At the end when it was time to pay the bill, we still gave the waitress a 26% gratuity. To end this day two of my family members asked for their food to go (maybe theyd be able to heat it up in the microwave), but unfortunately they forgot to take it with them. We go back with no less than 5 minutes gone to find out that our waitress threw it away and with a bad attitude told us that there was nothing she could have done. So thanks to this waitress (Larissa) our experience was tremendously awful.

This is sad. We came into the restaurant 2 nights in a row. The first night was awesome. We had great food and great service. We were from out of town, so based on that experience, we came back. Our waiter (john) was really bad. No service, asked us if we wanted bread, but never delivered it. Never asked us about drink reorders and stood in the corner cutting up with other members of wait staff. When we ordered we explained that it was 2 couples. He brought us one bill. My brother had a problem with his bill, so we asked to speak with a manager. The manager said that their policy is one bill. When we asked the name of the owner, he said Matthew but wouldnt give us a last name. He said it is family owned and he is part of the family. He then rolled his eyes at us as he left us. What a shame for a great restaurant and great food. The manager needs a different job. So does the waiter.

I go to dinner for the experience as well as the food. My wife and I enjoy a few drinks with apps before the meal. The food was excellent so lets get that out of the way. I just felt rushed. I couldnt figure out if it was the waitress or the kitchen. Either way and hour for dinner is way to short. You lost money also. We had our salad and ordered a second drink. A few sips into that and the entrée comes out? I was going to buy some glasses of wine, but I had a drink in front of me? thats an extra $20 you could have gotten from me. I will try and say we arent in any rush and see how that goes. It was Monday night and not to crowded.

Love it! We have been there many times and each one has been great! The service is always excellent! Starting with the hosts from when you walk in, the entire staff is always professional & courteous and attentive to each patrons requests. We love the variety of the menu! There is always something for everyone - from crab cakes to meatloaf to shrimp scampi or hamburgers - everything is delicious! One of the best aspects of Table 9 is that whether you are a party of 2 or 20, you are never rushed and you really get to just sit back and enjoy a delicious relaxing meal! You should definitely give it a try!

As a first time visitor of the restaurant, my first impression was that the service was going to be slow since the whole place and parking lot were packed. There was a sweet 16 party going on plus a packed bar and tables. However, we received excellent service from a waitress with a great, happy to serve us attitude. She was very attentive, filling our drinks before we even realized they were almost empty. The food was awesome, and the portions for the price were even better. We loved it so much that we complimented the manager. It gave us a reason to want to come back to the area.

The first waitress we had...mind you this was our 1st visit...was not too friendly. Her body language said a lot. Then a few minutes later, we had a different waiter who seemed like he was still in training but better than the 1st. The iced tea was the only item that was ok. The salmon had too many bones and was very bland. When we received the receipt, we were charged for drinks that should have been included with the meal. I could go on about a few more things that were a turn off. Unfortunately, I cant put this place on the top of the list as one to return to.
