I can eat breakfast anytime of the day. So wed alternate between Friendlys down the street and this place after the kids sports activities. Give me coffee and a stack of pancakes and Ive good. :) Over the years the waiters/waitresses have turned over, but for the most part, the service is still pretty good. The food is prepare well. I have noticed the last few times Ive come in, its taking them longer to get the food to you. They used to be a ot better with that. They have two dining rooms, the one in the back is where they tend to put the families and larger groups. It can get a little loud back there if there are young kids...personally i prefer the quieter front area. The parking situation here had always been a problem, especially with the weekend crowds. But its better now that they expanded the lot in the back. This place is packed on the weekends around breakfast time, so if you go at that time expect a wait in the narrow cramped waiting area.

We have been going to this IHOP at least once a week for years. The food is fantastic, always hot and cooked to our specifications ( we always tweak the menu slightly and the staff is always very accommodating.) The restaurant is clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The wait staff, host staff, and mangers are always friendly and welcoming. The only "downside" might be that it has such a great reputation there can be a 30 minute wait for a table on a weekend morning --- but trust me, it is well worth the wait!

Its been awhile since I dined at this particular IHOP location but I remember it being ... about the same as any other IHOP location! :-) BREAKFAST - Delicious pancakes (of course!). Waffles, blintzes, crepes, french toast, omelets, etc. LUNCH - Burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. DINNER - Roast turkey, chicken fried steak, sirloin steak tips - all served with sides like corn, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. (i.e. Comfort Food!)

Food was great, however, service was terrible! We were sat at table and a girl took our drink order but a guy took over the table and he did not give us any time of day. No waters, no refills on drinks, we had to constantly get up to ask for things we needed like ketchup and sweet and low. Its sad. If service was good I would have given 5 stars.

Eating there is a good experience but ordering food to pick up is horrible. Why is a non English speaking person even answering the phone? Smh. Only to pick up a different order. On top of that, they do nothing to satisfy the customer after they screwed up. Come on!

We always come to this IHOP because the staff is always friendly with smiles from ear to ear. Service is great and quick. There is always a wait, but that with every IHOP. Place is highly recommended. I would give more stars of I could.

Its IHOP! Whats not to love? Ive been going here for the last several years. The staff is awesome, attentive and efficient. Everyone has their act together. Ive never had a bad meal. They are busy at times but they seat people very quickly.

Who doesnt love IHOP? Brings me back to the days of my youth when I used to stumble in with a hangover the size of Arizona, and walk out a new man. This particular location has an extremely nice and accommodating staff.

The Good: The place was clean and the service was attentive. The Bad: Theyre hiding butter which had turned rancid inside the lingonberry butter for the Swedish pancakes. YUCK, ruined my breakfast bit.

Great food and great service at a reasonable price. This neighborhood place in Commack is very popular. There is usually a wait for breakfast so arrive early to beat the crowd.
