A nice enough place, but nothing at all special. Friendly enough staff, but the menu is pretty boring and the actual food even more so. A quick rundown of what we had: (*) salmon: completely flavorless cut of farm-raised salmon; very small and oddly overpriced at $18. (*) pork loin wrapped in bacon: fresh out of the frozen foods section; dry and just okay. (*) pulled pork sandwich: the winner of the batch, albeit an average sandwich. (*) vegetable medley (server with everything): green giant boil-in-bag or equivalent; no discernible taste. (*) chocolate lava cake: microwaved fresh, and tasted like it. The pluses? Nice enough staff, decent beers on tap, and Cold Spring itself is very cute and quiet.

On our very first visit to Cold Spring, we based our decision on where to eat based on online reviews. Silver Spoon did NOT disappoint! A wonderful atmosphere, charming and efficient service from the folks who work there, and unique, delicious dishes at a price anyone can afford, combined to make it a memorable and completely enjoyable experience. Im a French Onion Soup snob and Silver Spoons is to die for. If you are going to Cold Spring - you need to eat here.

Two words, Ginger Waffles. I paired them with an apple cider with rum which was also really good. If youre having a hard time finding curly fries, you can find them here as well. Friendly service, dinner/restaurant ambiance, the owner gave us desert on the house and was very courteous. We enjoyed it very much. Outdoor seating available. Would come back and would recommend for breakfast and lunch.

Strong point is that they have veg and gf options, and will go out of their way to accommodate those sorts of things. The food is generally good, but a little hit-or-miss...tends to be better when its busy (in Cold Spring, that means weekends). Decent selection of local draft beers too. A little over-priced in my opinion, but not crazily so. Overall, a solid place with tasty food and good service.

Great service, excellent food. Had the texmex breakfast burrito.. It was excellent! My girlfriend got the pulled pork sandwich, it was one of the best around! Not your typical loaded-with-sauce kind. Would definitely recommend! No complaints here. Our first visit to cold spring. (we always hear the name on the train)

This place is awesome! We came back down from a big hike, and were famished; this place was the perfect thing. Great selection, vegetarian option and very reasonable prices. Even the desert was delicious and inventive. If you head north of NYC, make sure you try the Silver Spoon!

Went here after a day hike at the nearby Breakneck Ridge. I sat at the porch since the weather was so nice. Friendly service and great food. I loved my pancakes! love that they make homemade meals and the place is just at the center of this quaint old town! great on weekends :)

Ask em about their seafood soup in a bread bowl. Dont get me wrong the soup was great! But that bread bowl was perfect. You drag your spoon against the outside of that bowl and hear a symphony of crunchiness rise out. They hit those bowls with a broiler before filling. Superb.

This is perhaps one of the best values going for a family friendly place to eat. Kids meals are all about $5.50, beers reasonably priced, pretty much everything is. Waitresses are nice. Location is good. Its a family friendly locals type spot with reasonably priced menu. Go!

I got the country breakfast, it was pretty standard, their toast was really good, but I wish I would have realized it wasnt buttered,by the time I went to eat it, it wasnt hot anymore making the butter difficult to melt and spread.
